Sorry to say but your assessment is flawed. Accountancy does not restrict creativity. Preparing financial reports is just one of the areas of the course, there’s so much more. You just failed to appreciate the beauty of accountancy.

Retention policy is to protect the college from being taken down by CHED assessments. Kung walang pumapasa sa school na yun masasara yung accountancy program. Accountancy is also regulated by PRC. It's a regulated profession kaya di lahat makakapasok. Only qualified individuals will make it. Medyo toxic minsan, totoo yan maraming comparison. Minsan may mga yumayabang.

Hmm you're kinda missing the point ng accounting and BAA, if for you naassociate mo ung degree to just one profession and it doesn't give you that flexibility then thats the wrong mindset. Most of our peers sa BAA don't even plan on doing accounting as a long-term job, thats just one of the plethora of options that you could take. Accounting is v v difficult and I agree na most of your time sa BAA would be spent on accounting pero its not limiting. Accounting elevates proficiency in all other facets of business skills. For example, it allows you to do financial analysis much better than those na walang accounting bg kasi you understand all the line items at a much higher depth. It gives you higher chances in starting a successful business kasi you understand the effects of the economic events on the FS, profit, future decisions etc. Same can be said for risk management, strategic planning, financial management, etc. You get the point. This is also true for other BSA programs, theyre not limited sa isang job and most business skills are much easier to learn and master once you have a good accounting background. You can't go wrong with it pero if purely accounting lang ang plan mo sa buhay then I agree. Its boring, difficult, and restricting.

Ang swerte mo naman. Ako bata pa gusto ko matuto talaga. Tama yung sinabi mo kasi ako self taught napaka hirap. Walang maggaguide ng tama at mali. Pero mga basics may mga na input naman ako sa sarili ko. Ang piano ko ay casio privia px-110 88 keys na hammer action. Para nga gusto ko na ibenta instrument ko pero kumakapit pa rin ako para matuto. Sa pamangkin ko bumili ng piano hindi naman ginagamit sayang lang 🌈🌈🌈

pre sa UP diliman na ako pinanganak ermat ko dito na nag graduate.. katabi lng namin college of fine arts. saksi ako sa lahat ng horror samin sa UP. kung gsto mo pa ng mga ganyan pm mko kkwento ko sayo lahat tambay tayo kela mang larys. sagot mo isaw ah. hehe. bigyan kta ng isang sample. punta ka vargas hall tanong mo tungkol sa bumbaliktad na krus dun tuwing alanganin oras.. at sa PPO malapit sa head quarters 12 yrs old lng ako nun.. basta. haha. madami kung dito ka lumaki. pati sa aso sobra laki.. 🙂

Tama! I hate the qualifying exams, parang tinutuldukan na agad ng school ang ability ng isang estudyante to improve and to excel one's passion at kung ano pang kaya niyang gawin....
