Another part they cut due to censorship is that they _actually said that they loved each other!_ Since they cut the audio for that part and put the music over it, you have to read lips. They both said "ai ni" which translates to "love you!"

You are not dumb. The TV ending is confusing indeed. You could assume that the last scene is Jom's dream. The title also suggests that "I (Jom) feel you (Yai) linger in the air". The drama focuses on scent and implies that Yai is always in Jom's heart and their house, so Yai said he had never left (because his soul stays there). Having said that, some people who have read the novel gave an answer to your question. Modern-day Khun Yai (Kanthorn) is the great great grandson of Khun Lek, Khun Yai's baby brother. Kanthorn is Yai's reincarnation who gains (in dreams) the memories of his 2 past lives (Khun Yai 1920s & Commander Yai in 1600s) not long before he meets Jom in the present. In other words, the Yai we see in the last scene is Kanthorn, instead of Khun Yai, who never felt in love again after Jom's departure and died alone after waiting for Jom for decades (around 70 years, I guess). It is also worth noting that Jom only waits for his ex-bf for 2 years only. Hopefully, there will be season 2, where we will see Commander Yai, who is more dominating, falls in love with Jom in 1600s.

The ending can be confusing if you didn’t read the novel. There is buzz that season 2 maybe on the way. The story of jom and lord yai( mustache ). This story is the important one since it’s the start of the love between them and the future depends on that love. As for the ending. That is not past yai. That is present yai. He was reincarnated with all the memories of lord yai and past yai. He dreams and has loved jom his whole life. That why he says he’s been waiting for him all along. We finally have met each other. The “ I never left this place is the reference to all the memories. The second season should tell us why yai went to the house that day. See if it’s different from the novel. It was a beautiful series. Probably the best of 2023

This modern Khun Yai is the grandson of Khun Lek (Yai's younger brother). He is Khun Yai reincarnation❤ For those who haven't read the book, the ending will be confusing. Hope I explain well💗💗

omg ya estas a nada del final🎉 este capitulo fue uno de mis favs porque a pesar de ser triste es también una despedida que khun yai se merecia ya que (se viene datazo curioso) en la novela ni siquiera hay tiempo de una despedida :( y la serie hizo muchos cambios para bien❤ estaré esperando tu reaccion final. aunque de hecho lo que sí confirmaron es que habrá un episodio especial y es probable que salga en diciembre, así que todavía habrá algo más que esperar por reaccionar kajsj (Y QUE HAGAN UNA S2)

The plot of this series is so intriguing; I can’t stop watching.I love this series .❤

This BL is one of the best BL for me. The chemistry, actors, production, scripts are sooo good. Same director as many famous BL series like TharnType, Lovely writer etc.

Por พ่อ literaly mean father. But when people at the nearly age call another person (Por+name) it’s show some respect and to cherish that person.

Very few international fans are reacting to this series; it's so underrated. Believe me it keeps getting better and better; it's just a phenomenal one. We've seen 10 eps already and it's never failed to amaze its audience. Many of those who are watching seem to agree it's gonna be the best bl series of 2023, and I completely agree with them. i'm glad I found you.

En la novela Khun Yai le pide ser algo como su asistente a Jom porque que un 'sirviente' sepa escribir y otro idioma pues es bastante raro, aqui le cambiaron el titulo a 'mayordomo' pero pues termina siendo lo mismo 😅 el siguiente capítulo tiene una de las escenas favoritas para muchos ❤ estaré esperando tu reaccion jeje por cierto, en youtube los caps tienen algunos problemas de audio en algunas partes y creo que justamente en el siguiente capítulo casi al final se le va el audio unos segundos... solo para que lo tomes en cuenta. (tambien llega a haber escenas donde parece que no hay musica de fondo pero en realidad fue problema de yt, en otras plataformas donde se transmite no tuvieron ese error pero no sé si lo arreglarán aquí)

i'm happy to hear that you are feeling more stable and happier. since I don't really watch bl shows all that much i can't recommend any of the newer shows but if you haven't seen it yet i'd recommend "the untamed" and if you don't mind watching animated shows i'd recommend "the grandmaster of demonic cultivation" (animted show of "the untamed"), "heaven official's blessing" and "given". if you want newer shows maybe someone else can recommend something. 😊
