Tua/Bigger by Stan Walker ( Mash up)
Chords: E F#m A B
Verse 1/Tahi Whiti]
I tipu mai au i te whārua e
Ahakoa te aha amu kore e
Kia whakarongo mai ki ō ui korekore ana
Ka whakaaro ake he aha te aha
E kore noa ētahi e rerekē
[Pre-Chorus/Korihi Mua]
Kia mau ki ō pae tawhiti
Ahakoa te kōkēi
He mana nui tō te āki
Hei aha te whakaaro-iti
[Chorus/Korihi]
Tiro ki tua, (Ki) tua rā e
Whakarongo ki ngā wai o Roto e
Kei wehi i te wehenga i tō awa
Tiro ki tua, tiro ki tua, tua
[Post Chorus/Korihi Tukuna]
Tua

Tua
I was raised in a small-town kinda place
Where it is what it is and you don't complain
Where people didn't know how to listen if you asked them
It starts to make you think, "What does it matter?"
'Cause there'll always be minds that you'll never change
So listen to your wild dreams
The ones that make you crazy
They're telling you the right things
Why we gotta think so small?
When we can be bigger, bigger than this
Listen to that good song beating in your chest
Don't be scared to stray too far from the river
You can be bigger, we can be bigger, bigger
Bigger
Bigger
Bigger
Bigger
[Chorus/Korihi]
Tiro ki tua, (Ki) tua rā e
Whakarongo ki ngā wai o Roto e
Kei wehi i te wehenga i tō awa
Tiro ki tua,
We can be Bigger Bigger

“Pourquoi" "Oh said the black bird“ A folk song from West Virginia

I love this tune and so do my students. They eventually help me sing this song and choose their own birds. We talk about the song being quite sad and how we can also have sad times. What i love about this some is that even though it is sad, it is also comforting as the birds are sharing their woes, finding they have things in common and I think, in that connection there is relief. “Oh”, said th...

This some has a wonderful message for overcoming adversity together, being the light for others and seeking out the light in others when we are going through hard times. I use this song as a whole school song Lanterns by Birds of Tokyo ( Scroll down to lyrics with chords) [Verse 1] Lately I've found When I start to think aloud There's a longing in the sound There is more I could be [Verse 2] In...

❤❤
Elvis is in Karangahake!😅 nice Roshan!
Just came across this randomly in my feed - sounds great! Maybe a bit more distance between you and the microphone and the next video to make it sound out clearer? Whatever the case, keep on rocking that uke!
Thanks for the feedback, I’ve been improving my videos so hopefully the sound is better now
I Really enjoyed ,,,,from Australia
Wow! Wonderfully well played, kids! And a fantastic student director who was precise, easy to follow, and kept everyone together throughout. I’m a music teacher myself, so I know how hard that piece it’s. You all did fantastic!
Thank you from australia
