very sub par compared to bandai gunpla. Mechanical design, color separation...total disaster from gunpla point of view.

Use a screwdriver to remove the abdominal plate will cause scratches, as you did..

If they can do the cannon/missile party, I wish they had also included the ability to display the Final Stage mode. I can't afford this so thank you for showing it all up close! I'll just watch the video every time I want to buy it lol

the type 0 has such a good looking design but 5 inches? that makes it kinda hard to justify the price

The text on the back of the box is written in the same font used in the game EarthBound. Weird thing to notice but still interesting.

My version is a bit tight to the point it feel like it's gonna break but I fix it by sanding the joints but that's after I accidentally broke the right hip

How is the plastic quality? I compared it to pictures of the robot spirits version, and it looks like its far less gloss and missing red details. Is the plastic fragile like most semi-gloss model plastics?

Thought the reviewer is guy, but actually woman. Kinda surprise. I didn't think Dai Guard fan girl is exist but I'm wrong.

Thanks for the thorough review. I have broken the hip pegs on my last kit and was hoping the build quality would be good on this. Maybe some Poly caps on the joints the way Bandai does on their Star Wars Figure kits. I know I would break this thing judging by your video. Might skip it.

I love this review! I bought this set about three months back without having seen any of the anime, but didn't get around to building it. I finally had some free time over the past two weeks and binge-watched the OVA, TV show, and Patlabor 1 and 2 and I'm so glad I waited because I now have a way deeper appreciation for both labor designs! Patlabor is such an amazing franchise for mecha nerds (the movies are masterpieces and yet somehow I prefer the wacky hijinks of the tv show])! I'm planning on putting the kits together this month and shooting some stop-motion with them-- cheers to you and the Mecha Mage from rainy Seattle!

How does moderoid compare to bandai in terms of "feel" ? Are they filmsy, wobbly etc? Plastic quality? Thanks for reading :)

i just subscribe we're did you get it i love that show i love mech show realistic tone just like Gundam 08 ms team evangelion bureaucrats counting cost and operation parts for robot and military also want the robot blue prints to build one they also need to address the public damage city who going to pay Using Giant mech better than military blowing them with Nukes Saving the world and Counting expenses operating Giant mech.

It’d be interesting to see how these moderoid kits scale compared to the robot damashii patlabor figures. I’ve already got the Ingram and Griffon, though still dont know if I should go kit or figure for the type 0. The lack of color on the ears is a bit disappointing, though at least for the other missing details decals make sense.
