I started this channel as a way to share my love of knives. I am not a bushcraft survival expert, or knife maker, or expert on metallurgy. I will make mistakes as I make the videos, but I will also create new friendships!
Thanks for being a part of it!

The more things change the more they stay the same, the clip, the nail nick, the grind and the steel may have changed over the decades, but the 110 Hunter is still a great choice to have on your hip when the hunt is on!

How to remove the spin from the blade?
If you mean the thumb stud, it is pressed on and would likely need to be removed with a punch. I hope that helps! Thanks for taking the time.
I got mine last week but the tang stamp is for 2022. The box says May 2024.
I imagine there are a lot of mismatched blade to build dates for this one! It is a pretty decent price from Midway too! Thanks for taking the time.
@@kniceslice780 I haven't put mine down since I got it. Something about the handle just feels right in the hand.
Fantastic Buck! Wish I had picked up the Micarta one also! Looking good Pete!
Thanks Andrew! This one is going to ride with me permanently!👍
The TRX 112 would make a dandy walking hunter!! Hmmm, ideas🤔. I dig the straight clip bade. Merry Christmas 🎄
It is a heavy hitting lightweight for sure! Merry Christmas to you as well!🎄👍
@ I’m going to swing by the LKS and see if they have one in stock!!
Good score on the knives, was fun watching you clean them up. Did you ever send the 3 line in for spa treatment?
I had fun cleaning them! I did send a couple in for SPA. I will do a review on the results in the near future. Thanks for watching eh!
Fantastic knife! The 112 is my favorite Buck!
It is the perfect size for almost any job! Thanks for taking the time.
Love the Bear head!! I have a Schrade Deerslayer branded Craftsman, not much info out there on re-branded Schrades so it was nice to see your short!!
Schrades are not easy to date either! The Deer Slayer is an awesome looking knife. Thanks for taking the time
Great to see a new video from you, Happy Holiday’s Knice Slice🎁🌲☃️
Happy Holidays to you and yours as well! The last few months have been very hectic at Kitchen Table Studios, back on track now! Thanks for taking the time eh.😀🎄
Sweet knife!! I have one on the way, should’ve bought two for the price, surprised they still have some in stock👍🏻
Fantastic! 👍
OK, now we’re talking… a beautiful Buck in a great big Truck! 👍
I think Midway USA might have a few left,$79.00 Good deal!
Very Nice! I was gifted one from Tahiti! Love it!
A very elegant knife! Almost to nice to use, almost!
Lol! Jack knife!!. picket clip... yah didnt need it anyways. but that does suck. Keep on trucking Pete! be safe!
Home for dinner every night, means I did it right! Rubber side down!
A Buck in a Truck!! Nice!!🎶🎸👍
That one is a favorite of mine. Such a great design.
Hope you had a great thanksgiving Pete!
We sure did Andrew! Lots to be thankful for!
😂😂😂
Very nice knife!
It is for sure!
OK now Mr Slice, I gotta say… That Boker in a Big Rig just might beat out a Buck in a Truck! 👍😎
If it had a pocket clip!😅
Very nice collection of 112’s and I dig the variety of variants!! I don’t have a 112 yet, but have been looking at one after watching a recent video of yours, hard to buy for myself this time of year with three boys but the deal might be too good to pass up!! Thanks again!!
Hard to beat the 112 for EDC use. Thanks for taking the time.
Nothing beats a Buck in a Truck! 👍🤠
My thoughts exactly!👍
Way cool. Like the color. Can’t go wrong with Buck.
Thanks brother! I am back behind the wheel after a three year hiatus! Keep the rubber side down!
@ Good to hear brother. Good for the soul. Keep it between the ditches.
Now you just need one of those fixed blade 110 Hunters! Not the woodsman, that's like the 110 with 119 style handles but, I'm sure you, already know but I just, found out myself and seeing that you love that model, so much, it would be a great addition to your 110 collection. Looks like it may be all you're missing unless you wanted to add a woodsman just in case lol.
It just so happens that I have a 101! I have done a video on it, was a while ago! I got lucky and found a local shop that had one sitting on the shelf! The new Sport Hunter is awesome for sure, total future classic. Thanks for taking the time! 👍
Man these have been growing on me! I love the classic style, but this is like a modern classic. 20-30 years from now, people will look upon these like we do the wood ones now. Edit: I forgot, there's also the Buck 186, a titanium 110 Hunter!
I have only seen the 186 on eBay, sellers are asking alot of moohlah for them!💲
Has anyone figured out where to get replacement blades ?
Not yet! 😕
I enjoy these Buck fixed blade reviews. The 124 is a big fun knife, thumbs up
A big fixed blade is a lot of fun! I have to admit I take this one out just to admire it quite often! The 120 has more time on my belt than most of my other big blades. Thanks for taking the time. , 😊
Beautiful knife. I'm getting one with the black handle.
The 103 is a very useful design. Thanks for taking the time.
How do I get one ? Been looking for years !!!!! Please help !
Keep an eye out at pawnshops, flea markets or browse eBay once I'm a while. Good luck!
How much the cost this knife
These are fairly reasonable when you can find them. I paid $20 for this one.
What size are those 2 screws above and below the clip (connecting the liners on both sides)? where to get them? one of them got out at my place....
I would recommend contacting Buck Knives to get some advice on that issue. It may be you need to send it in for replacement fasteners. They may be able to give exact specs on the screws as well.
Although I love the old “regular” brass-bolstered clip point knife, my favorite 110 carry these days is the brown burlap Micarta S45VN. I don’t like thumbstuds (blasphemy on a 110), so I removed them. One note - notice that newer 110s have the edges rounded off on the bolstered and handles, whereas older originals were “squared-off”….
I agree on the thumb studs. The nail nick is fine in my opinion! Thanks for taking the time.
Nice mail call.😊
It was for sure. Baxter os awesome!
That is interesting 🤔 Good video, brother 👏 😊
Small changes for a long time model, gotta love the serious clip on the old 110's!
You'll love that buck S30V 😊
I do love the S30V from Buck! Thanks for taking the time eh🙏
Nice collection 👌 😊
I do love the 112.
I need to get one of those. Thanks for the video 😊
The script on the tang of the older models is great.
Nice knife. I can't believe it's been 3 months since I looked at your channel. Sorry brother 😊
Not to worry! I checked to see when my last video went out and I was surprised to see that it had been a couple months! I will be back on track soon, life happens eh! Always appreciate you for taking the time. Take care😀
I Have One 2006. I Have The 🦅 Eagle. All Numbered. 😅
I haven’t seen that one yet. They are very nicely done. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Great camping knife, fun unboxing
I usually keep this in my pack when I take it outdoors. The hollowgrind makes it a good food prep choice. 👍
I just bought this model 113, great knife and I enjoyed your review
It is a great knife for sure! Thanks for taking the time.
Stellar knife. Böker can do wonders when it is needed. Flat grind on such a short blade is perfect.
This is my one and only Magnacut blade, and yes it is fantastic! Light as a feather and very nice to use. Thanks for taking the time.👍
Excellent review of the 110 hunter series clip point blades, even the modified blades of the slim 110 Hunters with plastic bolsters.
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. I appreciate it!
Very cool gifts from Andrew, he's a great guy! 😊👍Thanks for sharing, take care my friend and Cheers!
Absolutely Mr Toad! 🐸 😀👍
Plenty to be thankful for!
Yes indeed! Be well brother!
@@kniceslice780 Thank you brother. Take care.
What a great looking 113! Im waiting for some crazy exclusive! cause the custom I build is like almost $300! They should offer the chip flint on this it looks great with Elk! Thanks for sharing Pete!
Thanks brother! I love the ebony on this one, super dark. The Custom Shop does have some steep prices! Let’s hope they add a Web Special soon!
Okay ive been waiting for a little while to write a comment how is it so far??
It’s a good solid knife. The button lock works well. The steel handle makes it a bit heavy.
Cerakote is actually a carcinogen unfortunately:(
I was not aware of this. Thanks for taking the time.
@@kniceslice780 they are still very cool with their work did they do to knives I just wish to find knives that didn't have that chemical, it's too bad they didn't have any chemicals that can still keep the blade nice that's not.
Very cool Pete! Glad you like everything. That Mora takes a screaming edge being carbon steal and sorry I should have polished it up a bit. Also didnt know if you had a Barlow and thats a good durable user for sure! I should have sent a beer with it! Lol!🍺 I would have kept that pouch but it goes with the Knife😂😂 Hope you get some good use out of them. 👊💥
I really like all three knives! The Vosteed is super fidgety, I am resisting the urge to take it apart and see how the pivot lock works! 🪛🔧🗝️🔒
@@kniceslice780 yah. Back flipper. Top flipper. Finger hole flipper. Button flipper. Its got it all. Ive never seen anyone take those apart yet. So not sure how complex it is.
@BaxtersBlades It is always a gamble to disassemble a blade! The stripped screw is a real possibility and then the whole thing is screwed!
There it is!! What a deal!! I like that blade!!
Me too!
I have an original 650 C I got in 2001. The blade has a great finish to it and holds and Edge for very long .
It is a great knife! I really like the finish on the older ones too! Thanks for taking the time eh.
I have an older model and it has a convex grind starting about 1/4" from the edge. I read where another viewer said he had a convex grind, like mine, as well, but that is the only person who has referenced the convex grind. I love that Ebony wood handle. Thanks for showing your collection. You cannot go wrong with a Buck knife.
A convex is a great choice for this knife! Maybe the older models were done on stones rather than belt grinders and more likely to get the convex. Thanks for taking the time eh!
Great video!!! Love these 110s!
Thanks Randy! What’s not to love! 👍
