I like it
Thanks for the video!

He's a great player but I don't care for this, it goes absolutely nowhere and sounds like nonsense imho.
It's a jam at a jazz café. Kinda goes with the genre.
Music can't always can be pop in G major.
@@danielnielsen6900 I have been a musician for over 30 years and that's not what I said.
And yet you can't recognize a jam for what it is. Your subjective opinion is objectively wrong.@@danriley5848
@@danriley5848 agree i think Guthrie needs rest .... it seems that these days he is more prone to sound like a fucking Shawn Lane which is the sound of dentist drill
Love that tone
Dude this sounds great. I just got one and it makes a terrible noise when connected to the cab. Did you experience that? Like a sci fi swirly sounds. Not regular amp hum. I’m at a loss
That's normal. It's just the tubes heating. I queried Victory support and that's just how it is. I've had several of these V4 pedals now and they all do it to some degree. If it feedbacks really easily then it'll need a tube replacement though.
Those are motorcycles I love, new ones are shit.
yo but 2003/2004 zx6r looks better ^^ and its one of the old bikes, But not so bulky, with such grab handles on the side at the rear, I don't like the front and rear at all. Too clunky also the rear lights protruding etc
My man spent all his money on an XTC and now has no money for new socks. Tragic
Nice!
Thanks for the video. Was wondering what reverb you had on the snare? 😊
It's this one: www.kvraudio.com/product/classic_reverb_by_kjaerhus_audio Very old now but it's a very flexible all-purpose reverb plugin. I've been using it for years.
cool video, great to see your mixing choices but dude your voice was pretty loud over those drums, like when you took the processing off i turned up the volume to try and hear like the overheads for example and then your voice comes in and rips my head off
Definitely a microphonic tube…if you can run it opened up and can tap on each of them you’ll find it…and if you have the previous set there has to be at least one in the other set that is good…sad to say but it’s definitely a tube…there not infallible and fragile to a point…
Cool video. I play drums , and my process is similar to yours. Though I don't always use samples , I do if the song needs it.
4 tubes in the preamp and you have the thing sitting on the cab. One or more of the preamps are microphonic. The squealing and tapping are a dead giveaway. Move it away from the cab (a ways, throw it on a blanket or something) and retry.
It was a duff tube. Not sure which one, but Victory sent me out yet another batch and it seems to have solved the issue.
hey I used this video as a sample.. th-cam.com/video/ZSBJNzvd6Zk/w-d-xo.html
Lol Not a 636 bud.
It's a 636
Explain to us why its not a 636
@@dantemakris1295 looks he have no answer lol
@ryan yes it is a old zx6r 636 you must just google usw and than you see same bike ! so talk pls no b,,sh,t that this is no 636 2002 !
That's a zzr 600 or zx600 j
Nice one!
Sounds great. Keep it up
WOW!
I use this same rig, but I use the Boss MS-3 with it. I use the clean preamp from the amped-1 for my clean channel and then use the routing on the Kraken for the preamp channels with the Boss doing all the switching. I use it with the KT 88 setting for maximum balls.
Great sound dude
A truly great car ,will be a classic in a few years
I'm digging the tones you are coaxing out of that rig. Good job!! Can you detail your signal chain? Preamp live >> ?????>>>Amped1 >>>> Cabinet?
Thanks man. This exact chain is Tone City Golden Plexi > Preamp Live (V30 mk.2 capture) > MXR 6 band eq > Boss Terra Echo > Amped 1 (6l6 setting) > Victory 212VH.
Can u share the Patch u use it? Thanks
I’ve just sold the orange pedal baby as too loud for just bedroom playing and want to get the amped 1. Do you think that’s a wise choice
Yeh. On the 1 watt and even 20 watt settings, the Blackstar is very easy to get a good quiet tone out of. It can be brutally loud but doesn't need to be.
Did you find the upper strings to be thin with this amp on the drive channels? I tried two heads and they both did this. Thanks for your demo
Depends on the mode. There are tons of tonal options on this thing. It is hard to dial out an upper-mid twang though.
@@neighbourhoodmusician True. On any mode! The 4th, 5th and 6th strings are thinner than the bottom 3. Never had and amp to do this. I really wanted this amp to work, guess it just wasn't the amp for me.
@@chasingtone5748 It's good but I find it doesn't do anything for me that an EVH 50 watt doesn't do for less than half the price, and the switching system is terrible for integrating into pedalboard controllers. If I was spending the same money again I would buy an EVH 50 or Victory Super Kraken. Both cheaper, more versatile and have midi.
@@neighbourhoodmusician I'm with you. I had the Victory Super Kraken 100 and the clean channel was great but not impressed with the drives especially past the 12th fret. I do like the 3534 better in the upper frets but. EVH or a JVM HEAD IS more of the amp. Thanks for your input
@@neighbourhoodmusician How about the little MKII 50w Kraken?
1:27 why do u put to Neutral and pull up the handbrake when u stop?🤣🤣🤣🤣 whatta useless driver omfg - . -
Why the hell wouldn't you? I can rest my leg and it doesn't put strain on handbrake. It's literally half a second of effort.
@@neighbourhoodmusician I've just bought one recently and drive wise its great yes power could been alot more for straight 6 engine, its relible and comfortable, with auto gearbox I also put it in neutral when resting in traffic or red lights as this doesn't wear the transmission and the clutches inside it or over hear the oil too. These cars are well built the only one thing that is bad on these and I think alot of German cars have too is RUST speacilly on the sills etc my car isn't bad it has minor small rust bubble on the rear of the sill otherwise it's great I cleaned the wheel arches alot of dirt get there and causes rust.
th-cam.com/video/vEntZbl5TKQ/w-d-xo.html Kawasaki Zx6r 2002!!!!!!!!
You could at least put new strings on
Thanks.
Sick video my fav car
You have the pod connect to any amp?
Hi! Would you say it is a quiet cruiser or the sound insulation is worn after all these years?
I no longer have the car but it was somewhat quiet. Certainly better than most small cars but not luxury car quiet.
What do you have for the flashers
Err... a button and orange lights, what did you think.
Looks like a beautiful cruising car... Im looking for something comfortable with some nice power... these IS200's keep coming up. Would you still recommend?
Yeah. It's a lovely car but I'd never describe it as powerful. The 0-60 was something close to 11 seconds. Great for cruising and very reliable though.
@@neighbourhoodmusician thanks for the reply after 4 years of the video being up!... Ive got a Suzuki Grand Vitara (which is sweet), but its bumpy as hell round Nottingham City Centre. Something like this looks like it'd be great for nipping out in - with the luxury added on.
@@Elwooddudes get the white leather one it absolutely beautiful and a few mods will do the thing.
This is beautiful, and I also wrote the ending of my novel to it, so thank you <3
That's awesome thank you. I'm glad you like it. What's the novel about?
@@neighbourhoodmusician It's a high fantasy story about a Magus named Eliezer, and tells the story of his life and all the trials and struggles he has been through. The story starts with him as an old man, reflecting on his life. I had this on repeat for the last 10,000 words or so. Brilliant piece
Your mic is saturated, we can't see your settings...not a great video.
Simon Denivry Sorry Simon. This was just to document a song ideato show to my band. Not really a demonstration vid.
Alright. I'm looking at every KRaken Gain 1 demo and was a bit disappointed. But demo was not the point, I get it. Cheers
Simon Denivry If you look at my band's channel, Mannaforra, the live vids are both done using the Kraken.
Simon Denivry also, this video: th-cam.com/video/ajYOSCHnmZs/w-d-xo.html
Is this el34 or 6l6? Could you send your eq settings?
Sure man. It's the 6L6 version and the EQ iirc is: Bass - Full Mid - 10 o'clock Treble 11 o'clock
which amp do you prefer more- victory kraken or evh III 50W ?
I loved both of them but ultimately could only afford to keep one. It was the EVH that eventually got booted out the door. I may one day get another one though because it really was fantastic.
cool tune. Good prog jam
Thanks man. I'm just glad someone actually bothered to listen! Even happier you liked it.
I know what you mean. Good stuff though.
If you're interested in following new stuff that I do, you can follow my band Mannaforra. It's not as proggy as the stuff I do myself but the channel is here: th-cam.com/channels/YRqaP_HJfyzN1hRQc4rurg.html We're pretty new so we need all the subs, views and recommendations we can get.
Like for Alter Bridge ! )
Your picking is louder than the amp... Leave the recorging Cam/mic a few feet in front of the speakers, that is gonna help to that
Nice chapman
I've got my heart set on on IS200 too, either the SE or Sport version, from the reviews on Autotrader there's not a great detail of difference between the two. I'm aiming to get one in Feb/March time, preferably in the beautiful metallic blue and it must have the lip on the boot rather than a full blown spoiler.
Shaun Pierce only difference is the sport has lower suspension, tinted rear windows, chrome pedals and sills, better stereo due to separate amp, 2 tone sport steering wheel, short throw shifter, my sport also got both front seats are electric and heated. I'm not sure if it has better brakes as well? I'd go sport personally, and manual.

Shaun Pierce hope u got one in the end, the sport has lsd
A bit technical for me mate, I know what LSD stands for but have no idea what it actually is :)
Cut that damn string! Other than that, nice job.
