Great performance of this song. I noticed another version on YT but the audio is out of sync with the vid so thought I'd upload a new version.

Teddy Thompson plays 'Everybody move it' at the 2006 Green man festival
I saw REM warm up for The English Beat in April, 1983, at the University of Rochester. Still in their infancy. Became an immediate fan.
Still here in 2025. Magnifico
My favorite R.E.M. song. Always was, always will be! ❤🙏🏻
We're on a maddening loop. How true.
Where is your blue paint you mutt?
REM and especially Stipe who shows it in his body language and carries all our pain and failure in our past, present and maybe in the future....show me the way to the next pain and whiskey bar.......
I miss them so much...
I was in my sophomore year at URI when this came out. I remember hearing this (maybe not this rendition)!on a late Saturday night after my girlfriend of 3 years brought me up with me. The lyrics shook me as I applied them directly to my heart.
Superb!!
I wish Kurt had let him save him.
Stunning vocal from Michael Stipe, he makes you feel every word. Still torn between whether this is the definitive live take or it's the one with Neil Young playing with them and Peter doing some amazing electric guitar stuff.
I need Jesus. The second you need a human experience before God our Lord Jesus are a slave to the devil. He is number onre
Who’s on slide guitar ?
BJ Cole
@@Godders1thanks
One of BJ Cole's best known earlier recording sessions was the pedal steel guitar on Tiny Dancer.
Follow that....
One of the best R.E.M songs for sure. The band was clicking on a magical level.Mood, emotion and raw emotional truths
❤
The best version ever.
Want to improve perfection? Add a pedal steel…wonderful
This reminds me of the place where I wanna be but I'm also lost little
This flower is scorched This film is on On a maddening loop These clothes These clothes don't fit us right I'm to blame It's all the same It's all the same You come to me with a bone in your hand You come to me with your hair curled tight You come to me with positions You come to me with excuses Ducked out in a row You wear me out You wear me out We've been through fake-a-breakdown Self hurt Plastics, collections Self help, self pain, EST, psychics, fuck all I was central I had control I lost my head I need this I need this A paper weight, junk garage Winter rain, a honey pot Crazy, all the lovers have been tagged A hotline, a wanted add It's crazy what you could've had It’s crazy what you could've had Crazy what you could've had I need this I need this It's crazy what you could've had Crazy what you could've had I need this I need this It's crazy what you could've had It's crazy what you could've had I need this I need this It's crazy what you could've had It’s crazy what you could’ve had I need this, I need this It's crazy what you could've had Crazy what you could've had I need this I need It's crazy what you could've had It’s crazy what you could’ve had I need this, I need this It's crazy what you could've had Crazy what you could've had I need this I need
Wonderful song from a better time...
That steel guitar player!! Amazing.
I like with Neil Young 😊
The lap steel player is in the pocket ❤
Absolute Tragedy that C&A closed down nationwide in the UK before Alan was unleashed .... They used to stock that Men's look in abundance 😎
Toва е поредния хит на Р.Е.М.Майкъл,за мен си любов❤❤❤❤
Instead of this we got tiktok
Everybody Loves
wait was it a start of radioheads paranoid android at the very end
Has there ever been a more pure expression of soul-deep regret.
When music came with real emotion
1998 was a year when my life stopped, and I feel like REM are also stuck in that year and time is not moving, as if stuck in the eternal now. I am listening to this with an intention to free myself from this time by letting go.
I listen to Michael by doing my yoga too good.
"It's crazy what you could've had It's crazy what you could've had ADIDAS A, ADIDAS"
I always come back to this. The best of version of their best song
The E in R.E.M. stands for emotive. The song exudes pathos, and worthy of being my favorite.
Thank you.
For me, the greatest live vocal I've ever heard. & then he gets off the mic & lets the band take it out. Respect!
Michael your performance and passion for this beautiful song is felt in every vocal
❤Amo demais!
"It's crazy" what a lot of us could have had.
Resist=sister
2024 and I still watch this ever week and cry ❤️
I've been watching it every week also and It still sounds as good now as it was in 1998, it's just epic ❤️
Me too.
Makes me smile.
I do not have adequate vocabulary to describe how beautiful this song and performance are. Thank you Michael, Mike, Peter, and Bill. Thank you.
And BJ Cole!
Best comment ever. No words. Just feelings. Thank you. ❤️
My favourite is the Neil young version, but this is great.
Haunting and resonating, I understand this
This was my family when I had nothing
Who's this cool customer?
This is still very funny. Only the Brits and Irish would understand this humour.
