I bought a Canon R7 in 2024. Choosing a camera with a tight US $1500 budget was challenging given that I had to decide between buying new vs used. The Canon R7, R8, and Sony a6700 were the primary three but with my use case, the R7 just stuck out as the one to choose.

How do you know when to buy a new drone? Should you follow specs or keep up with the latest and greatest? I'm using my experience through my drone journey as an example in going from a hobbyist to a small business owner and my thought process when choosing to buy a new drone.

A bit of the action I managed to catch at Crabbs Raceway from February 25-26 2023. This isn't all of the action so seeing it first hand is definitely the better option but do enjoy. This is more for highlights (based on what I got) than to showcase the entire race.

I decided to go to DRAG-A-GEDDON this year to do some photography and a bit of videography (which is a first for me using a dslr).
