Als ik die namen hoor kippenvel maar ik heb met de beste gereden maar Nederland doet niet onder ✌️🤘mooi mooie jaren 👍mooie beelden
August 14th, 1983 I broke my collar bone, 3 ribs, broke my shoulder blade, broke my wrist and got a concussion all at the same time on a YZ250. But I healed up and raced again.
97 - 2006 was the greatest era of SX and MX racing
poor mike bell sucks that we are all slowly being taken away
surpentine not your mothers backbone
If you are over 50 you realize every one was full of shit back then. Actually nothing has changed. FJB!!!!
your so full of shit my eyes are brown
notice Art's call about Seb, in the original recording, Art thought he was a lapper and he had to re-record the call and splice it in before it was broadcasted on TV. S/O Reracables podcast
Bob hannah WAS THE G O.A.T !!!!!
Jeremy made that cr250 look invincible. I have a bike just like jeremy. I crash hard pro circuit made it scary. All or nothing.
BOB HANNAH THE KING OF MOTO CROSS !!!!
Bob on this, get your apple bucket bend over and drive it home
Thank's Man : 1983 the better season of mx /sx us !!!
My favorite French rider was always Mickael Pichon. He was and still is a great rider.
Very odd to hear elevator music during a motorcycle race.
braaaaaappppp
rip art
These races are honestly more entertaining than current day races!
4:25 When you are Rick Johnson, you can wear any damn hat you want. :)
Larry Ward 🤣😂 The guy is an idiot. Ward didn't pressure MC at all. MC wasn't worried about Larry Ward at any point. Windham only did well when there was no pressure on him. Total head case. Albertyn really should've quit SX. He sucked
I think its Bruce Penhall doing the interview but its hard to tell for sure. The credits at the end says written by Chuck Lorre, wonder if thats the same guy that did the big bang theory and some other sitcoms
Oops. I think you are right. I posted Bruce Jenner, not Penhall. Am I mistaken that Jenner did do some moto microphone work back in those days?
Emig got lucky. If McGrath was still on a Honda, Emig would have never won the championship
Ok....Barnett was the 125 God back in those days, but that Yamaha that Ron Lechien was riding was fast!!
The other big deal here....real deal works bikes!!! Those 250 Hondas were super trick!!!
The Supercross season was only won by 2 points over Mark Barnett, who had a chance to repeat as champ that year! I think what cost Barnett was a DNF at an East Coast race.
i'm a honda guy, but i hate to say it ,the al frame honda does not look good ,looks hard to ride and wide, the yamaha looks fluid and smooth like my 96 cr250r
The best names in Supercross: Clint Hardick and Deven Raper.
Carmichael holeshot was nasty
Hannah was nasty to race against nice guy with helmit off. Once it went on he turned into a pissed off badger with hemroids.
That 426 was simply a better bike than the 2-jokes.
Wow, I miss the good old days of Supercross racing!
One of the best heat races i have seen
Cry baby ass McGrath, got knocked out the way then try’s to laugh in 3rd place saying emig smashed the pipe and handicapped him. Go faster and ride better then you wouldn’t have to worry
Mike Metzger with the bike on his head at 3:37. "He's going to Disneyland."
What's a snowboarder doing in this race lmao
Only thing bad about this era of Supercross & Motocross was Eckman. CRINGE. LARRY WARD !!! PNW 🤘🏻🦾🌲
Id never heard that before. I think it’s dreadful how big the #plates are. They look like a bunch of TT riders..
I have a 2019 YZ250 2-stroke, and could not stand the "modern plastic". So I went "Ronnie mac" on the stupid arrow tips, (rear fender, side panels), went to a 2014 front fender, (yes, I had to mill in the correct hole locations), and got rid of the front number plate that looks like a arm shield for the God of thunder, "Thor". I could not find a old school front number plate, so I am turning a Frisbee into one, (because it makes me laugh). I am pretty sure the kids designing the plastic today graduated from the batman school of art. Abstract art (worthless), does not belong on my functional dirt bike. But I thought it was pretty cool for the Bat mobile as a child. The tracks today are like big TT tracks though, (smooth, fast, with a jump in the middle of the straight that can be cleared from a dead stop in the corner before), and they really don't need 12" of suspension travel anymore. Dropping the bikes 2" would do wonders for corner speed. But we don't think functionally anymore. I guess it is the batman plastic binding us. :)
David baileys comment about the triple makes me sad. “It’s been 8 years since I jumped a triple” . Now going on 35 years. I still remember how good DB was
Mr. Daytona👍
I actually enjoyed the announcing but I watched these races as they happened back in the day. Nostalgia maybe. They’re not afraid to criticize.
Bones
What piqued your aha moment…
The hurricain is THE MAN !!!
Man, I do not miss Art's yelling, phony drama, mispronounced names and "Bar to Bar" BS. Bailey was always great though...
Anaheim my ass LOL
What tipped you off…
The first ever win on a 4 stroke. This is history
"The Ripple Strip" -- haha I've never heard whoops called that. Wish it had of caught on!!
I was at this race. Had seats right by the triple jump. Great race.
Technical? This is the worst, shortest, laziest supercross track ever made. They should’ve just canceled
I like how when emig bumps someone he’s a “dirty rider”, but when he gets railed off the track by his team mate he’s “in the wrong place at the right time” then laughed at
