i want to like this, the setting is perfect but the combat…it’s just more of the same spam light attack then use power up, maybe dodge and spam light attack 20 times. the enemies are too spongy it’s just so uninteresting.

Idc what anyone says , hate me all you want , not only elden ring ring doesn't deserve to be in the top 3 , it doesn't even deserve to be in top 100 list at all , it was not just rge worst souls game i played , it was the worst game i've ever played in 15 years of gaming , some might say "it was just not for you" , i disagree with that statement, baldur's gate 3 was not my kind of game at all , and i didn't like it due to it's gameplay , but i k ow that it is one of the biggest games ever made , weither it's the story or the world building, that was was huge although it is not for me , some other big games were not my personal cup of tea , but i agree that they are massive games , like zelda breath of the wild , i played it , loved it , but not enough to put it on my top 10 , but i still consider it an amazing game although it was not 100% for me , elden ring was just the most disappointing experience of my life , i have never wanted to go do chores as much as when i was playing that excuse of a game , the map is big yet has nothing to do in it , the exploration was not rewarding, the side content was either some repetitive dungeon of a mine that looks the same as the last 10 mines i went to , the story was the weakest among the souls , the gameplay was just ds3 but much worse , the whole game is most artificially bloated game ever made , the difficulty of the game is not about well crafted bosses , or difficult attack patterns, or even a hard learning curve, it was all about delayed attacks, absurdly high damage dealt by enemies , way too unbalanced game design, the side characters well also very forgettable and blend, the side missions are boring and not clear , the bosses are copy pasted everywhere in the map , you play 10 hours of the game and you played all of it , the traversal was the worst i've ever seen , torrent was an absolute piece of garbage, skills aren't even required in the game , you don't need to learn how to play the game , because no matter how skilled you are , the bosses would 1 shot you anyways , and not a single mistake is allowed, most of the time it isn't even the player's fault, the game just forces you to die due to absurdly big hitboxes and trash enemy design, that game had at most 3 good boss fights , and those were the only well balanced bosses in the game , and imo some of the best bosses in gaming , like malinia and base game radahn , and i almost forgot about area attacks , they are way too overused and get old way too quickly, the only thing this game has to offer is stunning visuals , although the map is empty it still looks beautiful, the bosses are very cinematic although they play like absolute garbage , btw this game has some of the worst bosses i've ever faced in any game in my life , and most the bosses are that bad , other than visuals , this game has nothing to offer other than artificial difficulty and length, you want to beat this boss ? Sure , just grind that rune farm for 3 hours then go to that dungeon that looks the exact same as the last 35 dungeon you visited to beat a boss that you already fought 10 times so that you can level up and be able to deal more damage , also the leveling up in this game is either pointless or too OP , you level up 5 levels and it feels like you didn't do anything , you level up 7 and suddenly you 1 shot the boss , overall the gane was very boring , repetitive, blend , annoying, and just stupid, i give it 2/10 for having nice graphics, and i'm being very generous

Good news for those who didn't know (and bad for those Streamer who did reviews without knowing that) The stealth is way better in hard mode, ennemies will have a vertical vision so they will see you on rooftops if you are not careful, they will have way better AI, coming for you instantly and persevering to find you, better hearing too, reactions, ect, and I've heard that you can manually modify stealth difficulty and combat difficulty differently. ALSO FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T KNOW, there is a Canon mode, which erase all of the choices in the game for better narrative purpose (except for the choices of which character you wanna play each times, Naoe or Yasuke) AND there is an immersive mode, for example, japanese people will talk in Japanese, Portuguese people, in Portuguese, ect

Seeing the size of the map is quite foreboding for the Plat grind, aha. There's gonna be an absurd amount of collectibles in the game. Does look pretty good tho.

I will say, the game looks maddddd and I can’t wait for it, but it looks a bit too much like ghost of tsushima but still gonna cop it coz GOT is one of my favourite games I’ve ever played

All the gameplay that was put out from different content creators just confirms the game is ass. This is the only positive video I’ve seen so far. Not worth full price. When it hits $30 in a month like all Ubisoft game sure.
