I went to the "Strawberry Sweets Lunch Buffet" at Hotel New Otani Tokyo. The restaurant is a garden lounge. I enjoyed all-you-can-eat strawberry sweets while looking out at the Japanese garden. I went to the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo. The Ghibli Museum is located in Inokashira Park and has many Ghibli-related exhibits. I saw the famous robot soldier from Laputa: Castle in the Sky in the rooftop garden and enjoyed lunch at the Straw Hat Cafe. Good information for people who might want to take the tour, thank you. Just a note: protect the highlights, if the sunny spots are blown like in 12:07 it can be distracting. You can adjust EV comp or shutter speed or ISO to fix that. Also it seems that some stabilization was used when editing this section, take out 3D PERSPECTIVE stabilization that distorts and stretches the image. It can be jarring to look at for the viewer. Should be available in final cut pro and davinci resolve.
Many years ago my friend father took us to lunch at Ohtani hotel. I still remember that it was very good. Next time when I am in Tokyo I should go there.
Thank you for the video. It was indeed magical to stay there. I think it converted my favorite hotel there to this vs. the MiraCosta. But I love both and am torn.
Beautiful grounds, but really kind of underwhelming. I don't understand where the Emperial Family is living on these grounds either. I.e. Which part is the actual palace because nothing looked like a palace here. Also, is good to note that much of these was destroyed in WWII.
there is a portion of the imperial palace island where tourist cannot access, so most likely there

Hi. I shot this video on November 11, 2022. The autumn leaves are early in this park. In central Tokyo, the best time to see autumn leaves is from late November to early December.

Hi. I recommend this hotel. It is rare to find a Japanese inn in Tokyo, and the facilities are new and clean. The hotel staff can speak English, making it easy for foreigners to stay here. Although the facility itself is not large, the location is good, so you can go anywhere you like on foot or by subway.
