I feel like using a roller would give more even results. Also it is my understanding that the water based Liquitex is water based and designed to be non toxic. I have sprayed some and find no offensive odor. I spray a lot of aerosols and the Liquitex seems much less harsh than many or any.
Thank you
Wow.
Wow! It's beautiful!! The way everything flows together is amazing! Awesome job! 🙌♥️
Thank you so much!! ☺️
@@Corijaye of course 😊
Hello, Thanks very much for this informative video. I’d like to know which shipping company do you use, because I pay a lot for shipping and it’s almost not worth it anymore. Thanks again
Hi there - I’m in Canada - are you?
For large paintings spray or liquid varnish would be good?
Spray would be much easier to apply imo!
This is a very helpful video.
Glad it was helpful!
Good info👌👌
🎉It is great and beautiful
Very pretty!!!
Walter?
Beautiful 🤍
Is his name Jackson
Nope but thanks for guessing :)
Can you give me a hint 😜
Cute! i subbed
Aww
Thank you for this video ! And Canada shipping is sooo expensive, shipped a painting to a client in France from Quebec it cost me 92$ for a 11x 13 in painting 😢 and the parcel got delayed. If you have any tips on shipping cost too I would be very eager to hear it 😊
I know it’s brutal here in Canada! I suggest shopping around for other shipping companies and getting quotes instead of only using Canada Post!
@@Corijaye If I found a good one I will make a video for all our Canadian's fellow artist 😉. Thank you for the tips for packaging thats awesome
Thanks Marya!
I’m in the uk we have packaging companies who sell boxes and bubble way cheaper than what this costs
❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
thank you for hiding the kids face! safety is so important o kine, ESPECIALLY for kids. you never know what kinda creeps there are! 🤢

Awesome video Cori Jaye! It is great to watch a lesson in acrylics. I have never tried to paint a portrait, but this is inspiring me to give it a go when I get back to painting.
Thanks so much Jacqueline! You should totally give it a go! ❤️
Nice.
Not getting, filming not live video around the toddler and after Edit to show how blandly it’s has interrupted.🤔
Thankfully my husband helped out here! :)
Incredible 😍
I am starting to explore surrealism as a personal style. Thank you for this excellent informative video!
That’s awesome! Best of luck :)
Amazing, thank you
excellent, beautiul box prep!
Loved this video. I recently purchased over 100 acrylic paintings and need to start planning once they sell. I was looking into purchasing boxes that would run me a bit of money, but if i didn't come across your video, i would have spent hundreds of dollars. Thank you ❤
Awesome! 🥰
is suggestions on where to buy bulk art?
First two materials we don't have in shops in England. 😒
8:20, that's not nearly 18 inches. You're less than 12 inches when you start and even less when you demo'd how to move the can. :(
you should really wear air tight goggles / safty glasses as well, that mist is terrible for your eyes and tear ducts.
This was Very helpful providimg details of themes and seeing your own examples!
Glad it was helpful! :)
Very helpful. Thank you!

Wow, that’s so beautiful 🤩👏🏻👍🏼
Thanks so much!
omggg my moms an artist too :)
👍
Looks very neat & tidy
Thanks so much!
Omg !!!! This is so helpful!! Thank you so much
Hi, I'm just wondering are you supposed to use a foam brush when applying the liquid varnish?
You can use a foam brush or a traditional brush, however I find the foam brushes much softer and easy to clean after. If you go for a traditional brush, make sure to use a super super soft brush, and then clean it really well right after - I find these impossible to clean after and then I have to throw them out which makes me sad. So with that being said, I recommend a foam brush :)
@@Corijaye thank you. Is a foam paint roller ok? I do it it quickly and I don't go over it.
I think that should work as long as you load the varnish on all sides of the roller and don’t go over areas that are completed :)
I wonder if you could list the 9 themes for people who have hearing difficulties? I looked in the video notes and didn't see them. This video was very helpful otherwise, thank you!
Hi there! I did list them on the screen as I went along but I can list them in the notes next time too!
😑 my paintings are bigger then this
The foam board is brilliant! Very good protection. Thanks for sharing that.
Glad you like it! :)
Hi! Thank you for the video, this was very helpful. Do you think it would be ok to use the spray over a coating of the brush on varnish? I accidentally used a medium (ink) in a multimedia acrylic painting that bled when i did the brush on coat 😭 so im going to touch up the problem spots and i was hoping i could do a spray coat after to minimize bleed after. Thoughts?
Oh no! Yes sometimes that happens with the brush on liquid varnish - I have had a painting that wasn’t fully cured bleed and it is pretty devastating. I would for sure switch to the spray and try that for the top coat :). Just wait 3 days after touch ups at least before spraying. Good luck!
You look surrealism
Thank you! Very helpful. But to cut with the ruler you need it to be cork side down. Holds it in place better 😊
I actually flip it to get a more accurate cut because cork side down sometimes is not totally accurate as there is a gap! :)
@@Corijaye oh never had that happen. Ok 😊
Surrealism is so sick, one day I hope to be talented in it
You can! All you have to do is think: for example, I had a dream last night of stealing a harp (yes, the instrument) from a criminal gang and loading it into a hatchback, so I illustrated a man with a laptop head playing the harp
Beautiful job, well explained,Thank you,is going to help me with my Christmas village pegdolls ideas, especially with the skin and hair colors...🥰🥰🥰🥰
Awe I love that! I’m sure they are going to look awesome! :)
@@Corijaye for sure,Thank you a lot!... 🥰🥰🥰🥰
The term for making the mark without cutting through your entire board is "scoring". This is wonderful. I have a 3x4 painting I need to ship and I'm so nervous that it'll be damaged. So hard with one of a kind art! Your presentation looks so professional and neat! This is how I'll do it! Thank you!!! Note: Rather than cutting off the long sides, if you scored and folded them also, you would add more strength to the side of your box, adding more reassurance that something won't crush it easily.
Thanks this video was EXACTLY what I was looking for.
Glad it was helpful! :)
I agree with Paul Wales Art BRILLIANT!!!
