Hi I'm in Virginia but have done a good amount of videos in Florida. Have a great day

Hey there! Name's Andrew, and I have a full food forest, but I also specialize in new and innovative ways to grow your own staple crops for the kitchen via hydroponics! Pleasure to meet you!
Your channel is great. We already learned something new. And you've got a new subscriber.
@@DancingTreetopsFamilyFarm Thank you so much! I've subscribed to you also! 🙂
Hi, do you sale any stems or seeds? If you do. I would like to purchase some.
We don't sell Cranberry Hibiscus at the moment. Hopefully soon.
You didn't show how you put the wire ??
The wire is put through the holes and twisted tight at the end pieces so that we can adjust the tension if we need to. I added chapters to the description for you. If you go and click on the below sections in the video description you can see the end piece and the middle section of the trellis up close. 10:12 Blackberry trellis with galvanized wire 10:54 Wire for the blackberry trellis' middle piece I hope this helps.
What you built could barely hold one full grown blackberry vines.
What do you use for plant tags?
How do you use leaves? Do you have any tips we haven't shared?
I buy them all the times. They are still healthy and waiting to be rescued
SHAME, wanting to add hotels and golf courses to state parks. I sure hope not 🚫🚫😮
Gigi Berry are so hardy. They will grow in zone 9 like weeds. Mines spent winter outside and grow with no problems at all. Milton did your Gigo Berry a blessing.
@@avaander2065 what grow zone are you in? We were worried about the humidity.
@DancingTreetopsFamilyFarm zone 9
What an awesome deal you found. I love growing fron bare roots. Good luck on your plant deal.
Thanks for sharing your lovely food forest. I enjoyed you and the young narrator. What part of Florida were you started this?
Did you ever touch poison ivy? How did you react and how long did it take you to recover?
What do you use woodchips for? Leave a comment and let us know.
If you have experience with a plant that can survive flooding, please leave a comment so we can learn from you and add it to our food forest.
What's your favorite blackberry variety for your growing area?
How many rain barrels do you have? And how many rain barrels do you think you need to get through a drought?
Enjoy growing your berries 🍃🍇🍃
Thank you, we love growing blackberries and all kinds of berries. What's your favorite kind of berry to grow and eat?
🎉Hi from Maryland I'm growing blackberries bushes in a large barrel for the last 4 years and refresh the top soil it grows straight up without a trellis but I'm watching to see how you use this trellis I use wire fencing to keep it in place happy growing.
It sounds like you've got great blackberry success. Here in Florida our blackberry bushes get quite large, and we have one black berry patch that's a big tangle of blackberry brambles, which we are trying to prevent for these blackberry bushes. Do you have a favorite blackberry variety for your area?
Great plants! great 2 mention wind....sometimes the protection flys off in the night
You are so right, it's very important to secure any protection properly.
If you bring of the chief kubo's to Jamaica, you can change the entire way we see vegetables
You have any chief kubo's prize seeds
where can i purchase this plant?
Moringa is best grown from seed, but the fresher the seeds, the better chances of germination. You can find Moringa John on Facebook. He may have some seeds you can buy.
Did they sprout yet?
Good info. DIdn't know it had such a unique root ball. Thanks for sharing.
It surprised me as well.
Enjoy❤😊please sprout!
Thank you! Fingers 🤞
@DancingTreetopsFamilyFarm you make me wonder so much about the sprouts

Xin chào ,kỹ thuật làm vườn và chăm bón cây trồng của các bạn rất tốt 👍.
Thank you, that's much appreciated. Do you use leaves in your gardening?
🎉I'm going to plant 3 🥭 from store bought to add in my small patio garden from Maryland happy growing I will be keeping them inside until Spring
I've seen plenty of potted mangos produce, and I've seen plenty of mango seedlings produce. As long as you have patience, it'll be a great victory one day.
Good advice. I saw my neighbor was getting some, so I asked from where and he told me a neighbor had a son with a tree trimming business and that this father walks by my house daily. Stopped him, introduced ourselves and he kindly hooked me up. Got 8 loads so far this year and am about to resume with more.
That is awesome! I'm sure that's a big help with your permaculture project. Did you notice a difference in your soil because of the woodchips?
@@DancingTreetopsFamilyFarm I did! I found it much easier to maintain my new plants as the mulch helps immensely in retaining moisture.
Good rescue video.
Luckily you have quite a few plants that like water. That is actually important to know here in Florida where we have a monsoon season. I lost two plants to Helene and Milton as they didn't like all the heavy rain, Longan and Jackfruit. I had planned on moving the jackfruit as I planted it too close to a structure and the Longan wasn't a variety I really valued, so not such a big deal. Good luck with the sugar cane!
I'm sorry about the Longan and Jackfruit. Were they big? I lost a pignut hickory and a bunch of beauty berries, but we've got plenty of experience with flooded plants and we learn something every time.
@@DancingTreetopsFamilyFarm No my plants were 3 gallon plants put in the ground earlier this year. We will get another more desirable longan and plant it high n dry along with more jackfruit, probably from seeds. Sorry about your Hickory and BB. I have a slope on the back of my property that beauty berry grow on their own. It drains nicely there.
I saw a nursery man with a strong tool 4 moving pots wo bending ... lifting ...or touching storm waters it had a strong good handle 4 ur hand 2 hold and sometypeof clamp hook 2 pull push drag along the potted plant. I saw it and that is all I can remember. Good luck with ur harvests. I had 2 sacrifice a 1/4 acre of wildlife 2 save my neighbors from storm surge. The city men were here 2 mark more trees today. They marked an old huge cypress 2 cut. I washed off the X they sprayed. I have 2 guard that tree. I write this much cause b aware people people will cut your trees and steal the wood. I ordered the roots from an island. If any1 wants 2 know I will try 2 plants 2 c . Vettiver grass Controls water features.
Lots of work there. No fun but necessary. Good job.
You got that right! We've cleared quite a big area by hand already....but we wouldn't recommend it.
Wow, how amazing. Love how dense your food forest is. So many starts too! Impressive. Yes, just get started. We were initially held back in the beginning and wasn't getting much done. Now we just put the plants in the ground and will move if necessary later. Love your garden by your front door. Hopefully with any luck, we will be getting fruit from near our front door soon.
@@FurFeathersandFlowers thank you. We are hoping to get more space to grow in 2025.
@@DancingTreetopsFamilyFarm Best wishes for new space. I know you will use it efficiently 🙂
Indeed, nothing leaves the land! My neighbor put out 8 bags of leaves after Milton. I asked him if I could take them and return the "Lowes" bags to him for re-use and he was happy. I was happy to get the material, win win.
Free bagged leaves are the best. We have a few folks that call when they put out leaves, and we're quick to pick up.
You are a good soul. You take your challenges and brush them off and move on. So sorry to hear about your family car. Is that salt water? Goji berry likes water. You have quite the food forest there. Hoping the waters have dissipated for you so you can get in there to clean up.
Thank you. Its' freshwater. Our food forest is right next to a large piece of wetland, which is wonderful...most of the year.
Awesome. Keep up the good work
Thanks! Will do!
All the best 2 u and your family. 1 time 🌀 irma brought tiny orchids. U may know... when the ground is spongy trees can still fall. I like your little red christmas drink Sorrell. Rest and enjoy your plant life.❤🌎 ❤
Oh, yes, they're still coming down 😢
NICE! My stores have NO fruit trees 🙄!
Sometimes you can find the fruit trees outside, ours keep fruit trees in the back but always keep an eye on the plant clearance sections.
Impeach DeSantis.
Thank you for your knowledge! Enjoy!

Great front yard food and trees. Congratulations!
