It really had everything going for it. A bit more universal involvement from all the titles creating an overarching plot would've made it perfect.

I say that quite often, could've been the foundation for huge things.

It really was a great title.

Animal was a huge New 52 sleeper pick, great story and his involvement with Swamp Thing on the Rotworld cross over was fantastic

I agree there, that 3 volume run after Simones was like something out of a bad Archie Comic

Same here, JLD became one of my favorite New 52 titles. Animal Man was also a sleeper hit me fore as well thanks to the Rot World Crossover. Appreciate the support and am always happy to see more New 52 fans. We gotta unite lol

Lobdell had his New52 high points there's no question there, but he also undeniably had some LOW points lol

I thought the costume for Midnighter was pretty cool too, the straight black with the trench coat seemed and a bit generic. The whole lot of WildStorrm characters and plot threads in the New 52 was definitely tricky to navigate. For myself included.

It really was considering she was depicted to be a teenager as well.

Considering I had to go Indiana Jones in order to find this series from beginning to end, yeah, there really should be. A hidden gem of the New 52.

Edgy and early shock value scenes were definitely prevalent in the New 52 that’s for sure. I didn’t mind the Ronnie Raymond-Jason Rusch duo but they didn’t do Dr.Stein any favours which 100% bothered me.
