What’s a yak chew I’ve never come across that one before and where can I get one for my dachshund?
It is essentially a “cheese stick”. You can find it at your local pet store. Google ‘Himalayan yak chew’ for more info. Hope your dog gets a chance to try it! Let me know if they like it.

Awwww!!! That’s awesome news! So excited for you! I would wait until atleast 4-6 months or even longer, until their adult teeth come in. Puppy teeth is far too delicate for the hard yak chew stick and might chip their teeth.
@@LifeInChroma Thank you for the advice I will definitely wait until she’s older. I have to put my previous dachshund down on June 18 2024 and I still haven’t recovered from losing him but it was for the best he developed a tumor on his lung and it affected his ability to breathe properly and he was already 15 years old. He had so many medical issues IVDD chf and kidney problems dental disease and the tumor on his lung was cancer so as hard as it was for

I was not familiar with daschunds.i worked with a woman who had 6.she loved them so much.since then i have had 5.love them.my Lucy is older and i pray she lives very long and healthy.i rescued a puppy who i think is a chiweenie.what a treasure.I thank God for my dogs.

Such a handsome boy now he has had his hair trimmed. I thought at first he was a wire haired like my dachshund. I love all the dachshunds but love the smooth haired especially. ❤
His ear hairs grew out again lol. They are long again. I think it only lasted for a few weeks.
