I'm a city fan and a huge fan of the guy, but you'll notice that nearly all of these highlights are from 2014 or before, and mostly even before then. He was incredible in his first season at City, but he lost a yard of pace from injuries, and he's been more of a tempo player than a flair player since then, which is probably why people underrate him

@@imamoronand9199 true! Most people nowadays look at pace and skills. David Silva gave city an immeasurable stability to the team.

@@dahlen3233 you can understand why they would. the kind of contribution players like later-years Silva, or Herrera, or Fernandinho, or, dare I say it, Henderson provide isn't really something you can appreciate from a highlight reel. You have to be watching the full matches, and even then you have to really be paying attention to who the passes are going through. a lot of people don't have the time, attention-span or even money to be able to do that
