Dieser Wagen hat erhebliche Probleme bei Zündung und Vergaser. Der Motor wurde auch sehr schlecht gewartet. Mehr auf meinem Restaurationsblog: www.xkjaguar.com/restaurations... A walkaround on my XJ-S of the very first generation from 1976 with its notorious V12 pre H.E. engine.
The XKC race cars did not use the “C” head. The real C-type race cars used the “B” head casting. The “C” head was a later casting and the “C” head was a marketing gimmick. The 120s and 140s with the little “C-type” plaque were not the type of heads used on the actual C-type race cars.
Same transmission as in pre-facelift E53 X5 4.4i.
Yes indeed - also in some VW Pheton, Audi and I think even Rolls Royce. In a Variant also in Alpina.
@@The_Automobilist VAG cars have a different variant. However the exact same as in the video can also be found in a 4.4 Range Rover
Die Sensoren in diesem Getriebe Habe genau die selben in meinem kabelbaum defekt Aber keiner kann mir das richtige Teil besorgen über meine Fahrgestellnummer sind die Sensoren anders

Hey how you doing. I watch your video and i was able to rebuilt my tranny successfully. Great video to learn from.. It been about 4 years now since i rebuilt it..for the past 6 months been sitting cuz i have to do a timing job..couple days now i keep getting code 48 for clutch lock up too much slip....i drop the fluid no metal no smell. But i do hear the tranny making a lil noise like torque converter...how should i test the converter or what should i be looking for...it drive good when its warm but 1st thru 2 gear it feel its struggling...any idea please
Hi Patric - you can contact me on the timing. We have all the parts in stock and all of it in OEM-Quality. I advise not to use the cheap china stuff. On your tranny problems - I can be well the torque converter - they usually make a dreadful noise. All the best Christopher
Mein 5HP24 in meinem A8 D2 von 2000 schaltet manchmal super und manchmal knallt es die Gänge rein, dass es einen richtigen Ruck gibt. Kann dies damit behoben werden? Laufleistung ca 340.000km Öl Filter Magnete vor 2000km gewechselt (meyle Satz) selbst durchgeführt
Das kann ich leider so nicht beantworten. Ist genug Öl drinnen?
@@The_Automobilist ja, habe nach dem Tausch und ein paar Kilometer nochmals kontrolliert
Meiner macht das auch wenn das getriebe warm gefahren knallt er denn Gang rein von 2 auf 1 das tut richtig weh im Herzen Spülung wurde gemacht alles korrekt durchgeführt aber hat nichts gebracht...

Здравствуйте, скажите для чего и обязательно надо делать адаптацию АКПП? Менял прокладку на гидроблоке в 5hp24 акпп и машина поехала отлично два дня а потом начинает с трудом разгоняться....Когда заглушить двигатель и снова завести то начинает снова хорошо ехать...Что может быть? Может то что масло перегривается в акпп? Вискомуфта у меня не работает и радиатор акпп маленький греется. Подскажите что Может быть? На зад отлично едит.
