    Thanks for the very nice and clear video. I have an 08 escalade esv, I don't see continuity between the two ground pins L and M. Pin L appears to be a dead pin or go elsewhere on the board I can't identify. I do see continuity between E and F so doubling the power inputs definitely works. But I suspect doubling the ground through L and M does nothing which is why Ford did not do it either? Did you have continuity between L and M?

    Great video! Thanks for the help. The heated and cooling had stopped working in both seats. I followed the video and now the drivers works but still nothing on the passenger side. I’m not sure where I went wrong. Do you have any feedback on that situation?

    • @streetriderscustoms
      @streetriderscustoms 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If it worked for the drivers I think that what I showed in the video worked. If the passenger still doesnt work I would look at the actual wiring that goes to the seat and see if there is any damage to it.

    I'm in the process of installing Pop outs, just bought a pair but needed the hardware I did some research on install parts. What I found out was Wolfsburg West and West Coast metrics were the places to buy this stuff from. Wolfsburg West Strives to purchase the best parts and even makes there own. I watched just about every TH-cam video on installing Pop Outs. One Video brought to my attention that the seal goes in anyway but mentioned to look at the way it sets in the channel because it has a curve when installed. He showed that installed one way the seal curves to the outside but when flipped over and installed it curves toward the body which gives a tighter seal. Just installed the seals on mine, he was correct? I installed one what I would call backwards, it curved toward outward which I corrected, you want them to curve inward so the seal sucks up to the body of the vehicle. Mine are ready to install with the seal curving toward the body. If you bought cheap seals that could be the problem, by looking at the video they look like they could be installed incorrectly? I could be totally wrong about all of this but what I learned form the video made perfect sense. Is there a right or wrong wan to install them, I would like to know!

    Localized heat damage at a connector is always secondary to a bad connection, producing localized power in direct proportion to the product of that local resistance and the square of current. So always start by cleaning oxidation from the connector on both sides, to reduce that resistance to as close to zero as you can. You're absolutely right to replace the connector, but if you can't get one then check later to feel for ongoing heat. Junk yards might have what you need without breaking the bank. Good video!

    How does it work when you have freight on your listing? When they buy, do you have to then figure out who to use and get a quote? Does ebay give you a list of vendors to pick? How do you charge them for the freight after they already purchased the item. Ive been looking for information in a lot of plac3s but nobody really talks about the entire process, not even ebays FaQs answer any of that. And i heard you say you were going to make a video about it, but couldnt locate them

    • @streetriderscustoms
      @streetriderscustoms 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What I do is find the company first, put in my package dimensions, and that way I can get a good idea about the shipping costs. I then put freight shipping on the listing with the price. I always list to contact me about the shipping price before hand to get an exact quote.

    • @spankymagee
      @spankymagee 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@streetriderscustoms thanks for that info. So how do you charge them even when you do know the price? Update the total of the listing price for them before they purchase, or ebay has has a spot for you to put the freight costs before they pay? It seems way more confusing than necessary.
