Welcome to my channel, this channel is going to be dedicated to showing you how you can part out cars at your house to sell the parts on Ebay and elsewhere. I will be uploading videos showing you what I do, how I do it, what parts sell, where to find parts and there will be playlists dedicated to full car part outs showing you exactly how much money you can make off certain cars. I will also have some generic automotive videos, how to videos, and repair videos.

change the compressor dryer every 6 to 8 years prolongs compressor life
Localized heat damage at a connector is always secondary to a bad connection, producing localized power in direct proportion to the product of that local resistance and the square of current. So always start by cleaning oxidation from the connector on both sides, to reduce that resistance to as close to zero as you can. You're absolutely right to replace the connector, but if you can't get one then check later to feel for ongoing heat. Junk yards might have what you need without breaking the bank. Good video!
Hey Street Riders, do you still have this installed in the Tahoe? If so, still functioning properly? Give a current review if you don't mind.
Would love to see your videos show the finished job and drive it around... But I appreciate the content. Thanks!
Man I just paid $90 to ship a damn headlights that I sold for $130 with free shipping. I expected $40-$50
$90 sounds way too high. It must have been a huge box or shipped somewhere crazy
@ thanks for the reply man I just started selling, I work in a body shop. Yeah way too high, I shipped usps and used the original box Honda shipped it in, it was definitely a big box. I did a Google and see that we have an ups location located within a local store, I’ll have to get quotes next time.
@gregbrooks6318 USPS is never the way to go! They are the most expensive ever. I have found FedEx to be the least expensive
Great video, thank you. Im kinda late to this party, but it is best to just convert all for corners with new and chuck all the OEM shite. Ive found Arnott Industries. 👍 and readylift parts kit 69-3015. Its gonna be my overlander on 33's. Lets go...
Good video. Very informative on the removal and installation. Hope it still rides good.
Thank you, found a fix from LSXmatt, saw the number one comment, then found your video... Seats work now, who knows how long they had not been working... Thank you!
I'm glad that I could help!
Looks really nice, but those stairs sure do seem to have gotten pretty narrow with finishing of the outside wall
They might be a tiny bit small but really are not bad in person
Did it fixed your problem my Chevy Tahoe 2013 60k miles only and it started to lose oils I even do regular service no delay also there is no leak at all
Yes, no more smoke at startup or drinking oil. I should have done it a lot sooner
@@streetriderscustoms Thank you for your reply! What do you recommend: should I change both sides or just the driver's side? Also, you didn’t show if you made extra holes in your valve cover.
14 dollars each brand new on Amazon right to my door
Many of BEETLEs have beams installed in them…. Would it make any difference Beam or No Beam?
This is a super beetle, so it has the struts in the front and no beam
Does this Model have a ‘BEAM’ ?
No, super beetle so it has struts
How does it work when you have freight on your listing? When they buy, do you have to then figure out who to use and get a quote? Does ebay give you a list of vendors to pick? How do you charge them for the freight after they already purchased the item. Ive been looking for information in a lot of plac3s but nobody really talks about the entire process, not even ebays FaQs answer any of that. And i heard you say you were going to make a video about it, but couldnt locate them
What I do is find the company first, put in my package dimensions, and that way I can get a good idea about the shipping costs. I then put freight shipping on the listing with the price. I always list to contact me about the shipping price before hand to get an exact quote.
@@streetriderscustoms thanks for that info. So how do you charge them even when you do know the price? Update the total of the listing price for them before they purchase, or ebay has has a spot for you to put the freight costs before they pay? It seems way more confusing than necessary.
Bea
My drivers seat bottom is the only part not working? Could it be the same connector? Or would all seats not heat if that connector goes?
I would assume they all wouldn't work. That issue may be the connector or wires that go to the individual seat
What did you use to break the melted plastic
Basically just pried it apart with a small screwdriver. If its the first time breaking the plastic it can be a little tough if it is melted a lot
How do u trick the computer to get rid of the check suspension message does anyone know ?
Doing what I did is keeping it factory so there are no issues with the suspension light. If you were getting rid of the OEM shocks there are wiring kits with resistors that you can buy to trick the light
Wow so cool You’re a great guy with tools I can’t change a lightbulb, let alone ship an entire engine. Cool
I appreciate it!
How are the pop out windows now? Fitting some and are having the same issues
After doing all of the things that I talk about in the video they are fitting good. I worked on them quite a lot to make them fit
@@streetriderscustoms thanks. I’ve bought a second set of hinges to re-drill to see if that works.
"this is the issue" " " " " "
You also have new nuts and bolts to go with it. Too bad we couldn't see you trying a spring compressor to take out the original springs as that would have been informative.
That process is something that most people shouldn't attempt unless you have the proper equipment so I don't want anyone to try and do something sketchy and then blame me
As of 10-5-24 You can no longer access the website without a pre existing account and you can not make one.
YRC is out of business unfortunately
How do you get It to play after that? Mine is hooked up but can’t figure out how to connect my car to my phone.
You need to have your phone in pair and then you switch between XM and the bluetooth with the 'back' button
Who are you using now that yrc closed down
Right now I have no freight items to ship and I have not found a new company
i understand this alot man i sell car parts myself , on ebay and i find your videos very good , i own a repair shop with my dad and i sell car parts from my garage its getting hard myself doing this with its crazy at times but it helps!
It does get overwhelming, I have taken a break recently
Potential "thermal event." What is the root cause?!!!
Check out my other video on this to see
Two screws are longer to account for the cover.
Pilot atf cooler
Do you have a best selling word document
I do not, but I have some videos talking about the parts I like to sell the most
Iam attempting this hopeful it fixes my issues on my 08 escalade esv
Should be good. Mine is still working great after doing this
@streetriderscustoms sweet man iam looking forward to it and having cooled and heated cheeks lol
So I have 2 red with white wires do they go together for power?
My god,.that rust... :+(
Its not really bad at all and any car that has spent time in New England looks like this
I have a few headlights I’m trying to list but don’t remember the model or year they belong to how do you go about that situation I’m really struggling on that
I tried searching part number on some but couldn’t find anything
Usually searching a part number is the easiest way and at least gets you close. If you can find out the make, then you can search that and look through the models. Headlights have such a unique shape and styling most of the time its easy to remember what car they came from
Hi. Help. My rear driver side glass window slid to the bottom of the door frame. From inside the door frame, i can manually pull the glass upward to close the glass window. What is causing this to happen?
The window fell out of the regulator and the tracks. With these Volvos its usually the clip that holds the window to the regulator that is broken. If you bring the window all the way up and then slide it down into the regulator you should be able to put a new clip in
@@streetriderscustoms Ok. Thank you. I took the car to the body shop. I told him to fix it the cheapest way. He manually lifted the window all the way up. He then drilled a hole into the door frame AND the window bracket holding the glass. He screwed a bolt into it. Although I will never be able to roll down the rear window, my fix cost me just $20. 😂
All these contributions refer to mastubating.
The only part anyone needs is skipped over.
What part is that?
Wow! Thank you for this video.
Hopefully it helps you get it fixed
Thank you for this video. Fixed my 2008 Escalade.
I use a translator. Can you tell me if the 9-speed transmission is also useful for installing this device? Or is it unnecessary? I want to tow a motorhome, don't know which one yet
This would be useful for the 9 speed as well. Anything to help your car run better is a good thing
Im selling my engine soon should i leave the old filter on or off after draining the oil
I would leave it on, that way nothing will drip. I would just make sure you mark it somewhere with a no oil sign so no one starts it up without refilling
@7:08 How to get rid of a cat.
I just bought an AT4 with no side steps installed and I like this AT4X/Denali power steps with this particular feature, any help where I can buy it from? Didn’t find anything on GM part website and I don’t think the dealership would help and say nothing more than “why didn’t you take the AT4X ha ha”
These should be available to buy from GM. Not sure if your truck would be wired for them thought. Or if you can buy the complete wiring harness
How did you find the soujd proofing to work? Im in the exact same stages finishing mine, wondering if i should do more or less, i have a 7.2.4 atmos setup going in as well!
I wasn't trying to sound proof too much, just have a lot of insulation, but it turned out to work really well. With the dual 18" mini Marty's you can definitely feel bass rumble in the house but it is not overwhelming at all
@@streetriderscustoms oh great to hear! I'm gonna do some vibration channel as well, it's tough to get rid of the racing scene from ready player one all to together but limiting is the key 👍🏼
Awesome video. Thank You!
I hope that it helped you out!
Can that problem cause blackesh spark plugs??? . Im thinking on doing these repair on my 2012 Silverado started feel a little sluggish at hard taking off. Clean throttle body and maf sensor and still feel the same. I hope by changing spark plugs and valve cover will fix my problem
It will cause you to burn more oil than normal so yes it would cause the spark plugs to be more black. It's easy to change and you might as well and I bet you will notice a difference
Did ebay restrict how much you can sell when first starting?
Yes when you are starting out they limit you until you get good feedback and some sales under your name that have no issues
I REALLY REALLY HOPE!!! you got some room treament, since this video!! this sound in that room, is so horrid. this movie experience, would be lifted to another universe.. if you sound treat the room
The room was just completed when I made the video so it does look different now
@@streetriderscustoms so coo l to hear, because it sad to miss out.. specially with such cool room, and good gear;-)
Waste of money for 250 mine as well put a radio in
I like the stock radio and this was not $250
Hey man, did you ever sell this headlight? If not, I may be interested in it. I buy and sell auto parts and have developed somewhat of a specialty to repair stuff like this.
That headlight was sold a long time ago. How is your business going? Do you mainly sell on eBay?
Should be done from the factory. No reason this should be an add on item. It's nice to have even if you don't tow.
Yes, it is such a simple little part that should just be included. Its just a way for Honda to make money to charge a lot more for a Pilot with the 'tow package'
