One thing that I really love about full moon simmer pot recipes is that you are going by the general intentions. The full moon is a time to reflect, let go of what no longer serves you, and really get your ducks in a row - not to manifest. I like to use the full moon to sort of honor the intentions associated with it rather than trying to manifest those intentions.
