The show must go on mentality really needs to change, especially since COVID. It's not fair on both performers and backstage to get the brunt of angry audiences when shows have to be cancelled due to illness which can be very last minute at times. You clearly did the right thing for yourself, Chris. Take care of yourself and maybe see you on tour again soon.

Oh a Merlin, BOOH had one of those and it was horrible. Currently using an Aramis which are much better, but I miss having a rollbar so much. Is SA touring with spots then or using in house ones when they are available? Also I can recommend Telrad dot sights. I have one which I got off Amazon. I could lend you mine if you need it at any point in the future.

i spent a good 15-20 mins trying to find out if your trundle in stage right or left. i came to the conclusion it was behind the stage and further over to stage right

It’s surprising as for gang show 90 it was really sh*t lighting as you couldn’t see anyone on stage half the time. They were also using a chamsys mq50 which I was surprised they weren’t using etc
Totally all our kit, nothing used in-house. Not the best on a chamsys and there is a reason …
Came to see the show at Hammersmith and loved it coming back on the final day! The lighting was the best I’ve ever seen in a production of sister act

I know we already chatted about this elsewhere, but in preparation for when this video inevitably gets a gazillion hits... The fastest way to wrangle the presets live is: [Group] [Preset] [preset_number] [Enter] (makes a selection of all channels in the preset) then [Preset] [preset_number] [Enter] (apples the preset to the selection). From there you can @Full to photograph the whole preset, then Rem-Dim each channel in turn for a photo of each unit. Then sneak the lot, and move to the next preset.

Hi Stuart, we are following a plan on how to make it work by our production electrician for the show, who is basing what we do on the lighting designers plan for the show
