ORIGINAL SONG SUNDAY YOUR FUTURE WEDDING SONG
I like the idea of a live practice session .. sounds fun! Like Iverson said..” we talkin’ ‘bout practice? “
Well, I didn’t go watch “Friday” .. I think I saw enough.. lol .. but I did go watch her latest video... seems like she made it... the fact that she left Friday video up , speaks volumes about her. She’s obviously not ashamed of being young and inexperienced, as she shouldn’t be. The path she walked, took her to where she is. We’re all on a journey and she’s proud of hers.
Thanks bro !!! Do more like this ! Bless you
will do bro, thanks, blessings
Thank you so much man I am going for the h6 or the h8 If I have two keyboards one vocalist and a drummer ( who I plan on using one mic with to get a good overhead signal) hpw would I make sure the vocals and the keys come out of the venues pa system? Thanks!
@@ByCoreyLaury For sure. Sounds like you need a mixer, not an H6. What are you trying to do?
@@booknoahgrove appreciate the quick response man, I am trying to record a show that i will be performing at, i will be on keys and vocals, another player will be using his key bass and keyboard out of one amp, and I'll have a drummer, i want to record the audio in fl studio to mix it down and after the show
@@ByCoreyLaury nice, a mixer is what you need to get the sounds to the PA, this H6 is for recording and it can also function as an audio interface for a computer. If you want to individually track each instrument AND send them to a PA, the Zoom H6 isn’t necessarily the solution, although if you had a mixer with 4 auxiliary outs and you were just trying to record 4 inputs, it could work. QSC touchmixes could do what you need and Behringer XR18 could do it paired with a laptop and a DAW
Why didn’t you just switch the polarity in the system setting instead of doing any of that?😭
@@Drisbine I didn’t see any way to do that within Keyscape. I’ve done it through my DAW before but I wanted the sound coming direct from Keyscape not through Logic.
hey Noah im thinking of moving there. what's the private gig situation like? are there good players playing in multiple projects available for hire? know any good pedal steel guys? sorry its a lot but I am thinking of moving to do music there full time
@@jimmydenny168 hey Jimmy, sorry for the delay. Yes. There’s quite a bit going on here. There are some pretty skilled players around. I’m not personally aware of a good pedal steel player but I’m sure someone is here. It’s not a bad place to do music full time. Lots of private events in Charleston. More right after the pandemic but still there. It happens to be a major wedding destination, #2 in the US so they say, and lots of companies do their corporate meetings/events in Charleston. Also there are a handful of other cities within driving distance. Hilton Head, Beaufort, Columbia, Savannah, even north to Myrtle Beach and Greenville, sometimes further south than Savannah. All these places produce private event opportunities.
So nice to see you jamming solo live again! I missed ya live, enjoying you on my Sunday morning, coffee in hand😎👍🏻
@@dwstoeckel4740 thanks for stopping by DW, gonna be playing/streaming a lot! Have a good day man 🤘 ☕️ 🎶
I feel like I haven’t been seeing you as much lately.. but what a great one to hit me with..! Really like this..
I will be making a resurgence before long! Glad you enjoyed the song :-). Thanks for stopping by
@@booknoahgrove That’s good to hear ! I always enjoy your content…😎👊🏻
This one is absolutely beautiful. More like this
thanks Zac
First off Noah let me just say that above and beyond the great information you gave here, you have a fantastic voice and I think ultimately the usefulness and impact of a harmonizer is ultimately influenced by the quality of the original voice. So mission accomplished there for you. I did wish you included some harmonizing at the end along with the other effects. But it was fine. That being said, prior yo watching this, I was torn between the VG and the Boss VE-2. I read ur comparison on your blog, and it sounds like the only thing missing on the VG that the VE2 has the ability to use both discrete key setting and input driven Harmony. But other than that it sounds like the perform VG id superior. So I'm going to look into getting one. Thank you so much!
Hey Marc, thanks man, appreciate the compliment on my voice. Glad this information was useful to you. I wish I included an actual demo of the pedal too! I'll say, if you're planning to gig with it, the Perform VG is awesome. It's so nice even just to have your mix control mounted on your mic stand. Less set up and tear down. One less thing to carry. The ease of use and compact controls... I think it's just an awesome unit. I lost mine recently. Accidentally left the mic stand at a gig with the VG and mic still in it. Sad day.
@@booknoahgrove Oh no! So sorry you lost it, Noah. That sucks, especially after all the hard work you put in making this very helpful video. Plus how much you really like it. Sorry man. 😔 Yw for the praise. Very deserving. And yeah I do think it's cool how it attaches to the mic stand. However, not sure how that's gonna work for me. I'm a keyboardist so I plan on using it with my Yamaha. And when I set up the mic, the base of the stand is to the left of my keyboard, and the boom part goes horizontally across the lower half of the keys, so the mic can be right in front of me. (It makes sort of an upside down L if you can picture that.) Anyway, that means if the VG is attached to my mic stand, it'll be off to the left because attaching it to the boom portion would have it hanging down over my keys. But ur suggestion about buying the 6 button foot switch may be the way that I have to go. And that's not such a bad thing because I was thinking of buying one to turn the pages on my tablet as I play. So I probably would've needed the switch anyway. Thanks again! 🎹🥳
compelling review and we didn't even hear it!
Sorry I missed ya live… I always enjoy a little music and a message… I enjoy your channel ! Thanks Noah!
hello can i use piano instead guitar?
should be able to, anything that runs sound through a 1/4 inch instrument cable should work
Will and Tim are awesome!!!
they are charming fellas, and they make some great music!
Can you add chorus to the vocals?
I don’t think so, pretty sure just to the guitar
a good demo thanks! i would pay a little more to have also an interface here too as in one model. There is no place for guitar though😢
Thanks man. I’m still using this unit for all my gigs and don’t see why I’d switch. It’s an incredible value. Time and space saver.
Doesn't sound your style but your voice fits for that kinda sound
thanks Zac, and thanks for listening
Thank you for the video. Should I plug my guitar directly into the VE2 and then into my pedals or first into the my pedals and then into the VE2?
I would go into your VE-2 first or early in the chain. I would want my VE-2 to have a nice strong signal/level from the guitar. But if you’re throwing heavy distortion or something like that might make it harder for VE-2 to evaluate what chords you’re playing. What’s your pedal chain?
@@booknoahgrove It’s actually pretty simple. An Acoustic Guitar and a MVave Cube Baby with IRs.
@@carlodeluca I might go after the Cube Baby. VE-2 is going to work best with clean and clear levels from your guitar.
@@carlodeluca a little bit of delay and/or reverb shouldn't be a problem, but I'd suggest playing around with it and seeing what results you get with your settings
@@booknoahgrove After? It wouldn’t be cleaner before the effects? Although I know that the VE2 would bypass the guitar, I have an impression that it would affect the sound. I will buy my VE2 tomorrow.
Nice Noah!
thanks DW!
Ok , so I think I’m grasping the concept … sounds like a cool idea..seems like it will take some time to grow it, hope you stick with the idea.. it’s a perfect “step in the right direction” for guys like me that are just learning, and still haven’t performed to any kind of “live” audience.. I’m kind of a techno caveman tho. Not sure I have the gear necessary to do it?
If you can record videos, then you can do it!

Whats the song you are playing ? Sounds beautifull
The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra! thank you!
Interesting seeing some one wearing mask when it is no longer required. Especially someone who came from places where people were not willing to wear mask during covid time.
In China, masks are very common. Lots of people wore masks before COVID to protect themselves against air pollution. I wear it sometimes in China for a number of reasons. It helps keep your face warm when it’s cold outside. It protects against air pollution and especially if I’m going to be in smushed seas of people in the subways or Beijing it really does make it less likely to get sick in general. And it helps obscure my face and blend in. I get tired of having people stare at me or want to talk to me because I’m not Chinese. Just want to go about my day like everyone else sometimes. Masks were a very interesting social issue. I’ve got a lot of thoughts about them.
Thank you !
Don’t spose you can use an external camera?
I haven't tried but I just looked at the video settings options and it didn't look an option
Sooo good!!! Love all these songs and your unique flair to them… well done, Noah!
thanks Tracey :-)
Loved this video!
thanks Nik :-)
theres a tuner when you hold mix i believe also
I think you might be right, I saw some moving lights when I had it muted at a gig the other day, was probably the tuner, if so that's awesome
Please accept this as the most sincerest of compliments ...... my friend, you keep me interested in things I’m not normally interested in... I always watch your videos all the way to the end. Enjoy your vids tremendously
that's a great compliment indeed, appreciate it DW, thanks man, glad to hear it
You gonna do some busking while you’re out?
Ya know, Quebec City would've been an absolutely awesome place to busk. I don't know what the busking regulations are there but if we ever go back I'll bring a guitar. No plans to busk here in China. I'm guessing it's not permitted as there is no one doing it. Last time here I did get a four times a week gig.
@@booknoahgrove sweet! Have a great time…

I listen to it almost every morning ..gd motivation for me ♥️
<3
get it Nailah!!
I love this song
Super impressive
Thanks Eddie
Love the video love it when people actually think and talk and discuss …society lately it’s just “agree with me or I’ll cancel you”. For me the solution seems really simple yet totally impossible ..I believe every single problem this world has , could be solved if each and every person simply cared as much about the people standing around them, as they care about themselves.. every single issue we have would one by one be solved everything from environmental problems wars starvation we could solve it all if everyone simply cared as much about the ones around them as they do themselves Just my belief
I think you’re right
You said what you needed to say, and you put it to music…. That makes it perfect. I enjoyed that.
thank you DW :-) thanks for listening
Just got one of these and found a really cool way to use it. If you turn the balance all the way clockwise and set it for a harmony one octave above, you can hit the high notes on falsetto tunes. works quite well. I've also done it an octave lower just to hit the low notes on Folsom Prison Blues.

He never actually uses it.
I used it all the time just not in the video as it's a review not a demo. But I made this video a few years ago and I'm sure to include demos now when I make videos like this.
“One person’s experience, on one particular day”... .... and “watch your audience”........solid advice that I’ll take to heart if( when) I ever leave my spare bedroom.. 😎👍🏻

Looking forward to seeing what you have coming up! I hope you still will find some time to live loop occasionally, maybe just build yourself a small self contained rig that’s set up just for solo live looping performances? If it’s a zero set up time , you may still do it occasionally?
