    What if the Great Red Spot is actually caused by a swallowed moon that orbits beneath Jupiter's cloud tops? All the red and brown hues thrown off into its equatorial bands could be caused by a planetoid that is being ripped apart. The Shumaker/Levy comet left scars in Jupiter's cloudtops for a year. It could take centuries for Jupiter to fully absorb a planet sized object.

      @@ky1ebetts i dont think thats the case, but it is an interesting thought

      @@SpaceEnthusiastAndrew Yeah I know it's most likely a centuries old storm like they say. It just struck me as odd once when I was viewing images of Jupiter's poles. Deep blue and gray hues that suddenly shift to red and brown near the equator, something unknown has to be going on down there. Even Jupiter storms should never last for centuries.

    • @SpaceEnthusiastAndrew
      @SpaceEnthusiastAndrew 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ky1ebetts for sure something weird or maybe even some physics we don't know about is going on in that storm

    In order to begin to populate the Solar System, it is not at all necessary to try, at the risk of fatal losses, to populate distant planets that are unsuitable for life. It is much more productive and promising to engage in the development and construction of mobile autonomous arks in Earth-Moon orbits. And with their help, it is safe, reliable and comfortable to move to any suitable point, to any suitable orbit in the Solar System.

    apologies everyone for the outro, the sudden cut from the actual video to the outro is not intentional, there was meant to be a gap there like i did with the mercury video, it kinda makes the outro feel messy so apologies for that.
