Why not use a chain removal tool and not have to fool around with getting that chain over the axel, gear, and whole assembly?

What model number is the pump you are using?

Are the front and back inner tube the same size?

Does the compressor switch off and on depending on how much psi accumulated?

The knee trick is everything. Thank you again. I didn't have to remove the brake drum. I used a 90 degree allen key with a wrench as extension. It worked flawlessly. Thank you again

Nice video 😄👌 but, as an electric engineer student, i have to mention that there’s plenty of reasons why engineers uses Lead-Acid battery for escooter where the battery is very close to the user, It’s to assure maximum safety and prevent injuries or death caused by the battery. Each chemistry of each battery type have their pros and cons. Use Li-Ion or Li-Po battery at your own risk but NEVER, NEVER give it to someone else or a kid🙏😢you know your design, other people don’t. Great project doh 👌

Hello Jeff may I ask have you dived down to 2.5m or 3m and stayed down for around 10minutes ? If not what is the max depth you have dive down to and for how long u stayed at that level? Enough air or Any light headiness

Is that blue hose 1/4 inch.?.only coil hoses I can find are 1/4" in the state...great demo and that pvc air tank is awesome..if compressor stops u will hear and still be able to take another breath if you are 3 to 5 meters down and be able to surface safely...many others do not add air tank...I will make mine very similar to this one for sure..thanks for sharing.

I like your design very much...using the pvc as float and air chamber is excellent thinking. Do you think this unit would deliver enough air if you drove to 5 or 6 meters? ALSO what regulator did you use and does your compressor ever catch up and shut off or does it run continuously...does it get hot at all? How deep was your dive? Could you breath easy at 15 ft or 5 meters? Do you have all specs or model number brand of that motor? Or do you think it could be better? Thanks for sharing

Just need a good quality motor that produces lots of air and shuts off at around 70 psi and when it gets 65 psi goes on...the rest is easy for me..your setup is very nice..thanks for sharing

Mod the controller. There is a current sensing shunt you need to beef up. I am running a 7S 5P (29.4V, 14Ah) battery pack with no problems on the stock controller.

I had to do this the other day. My tube went flat and looked inside the tire/tyre to see why and noticed the cords are separating from the rubber. Got on Amazon and ordered a new one. I have 4 of the E200's and none of them have the chain tensioners. My little boys E90 has the tensioner for the drive belt.

Be careful, this engine takes inlet air through the electric motor. You will breathe the carbon from the brushes, etc.

great job! one thing tho.... I wouldn't pull your air through the box and then compress it. not with a lead acid battery in the immediate area. Also, carbon filters are a nice touch for particulates :)

The other side of the rim. The one opposite the sprocket also has a slot for the tube nipple. You can put it that way and then those holes our friend used to bang out the brake drum are for fishing in the air extension adapter through.

I posted your setup on a sub on reddit about diving, and they were pretty critical about safety. Specifically, they were critical of your lack of a prefilter for mold/pollen being forced into your lungs and moisture/particle filter for the forced air. THey also said that there should be a check valve at the regulator to prevent backflow. How would you respond to these criticisms? I really like your rig and engineering, but safety is key.

Watching now, oil free pump and lithium battery (what size?) Im going with a Dewalt compressor that comes with flexvolt battery and has a one gallon tank. $305 package plus hose and regulator for $75, breathing air hose, not compressor hose (and filter) Nifty use of pipe as an air storage tank/ float system. Details would be helpful such as the compressor scfm number which should be at least 1.5 or so, as I compare them from other makers. Everyone shows us how to cut and paste. :) This is pretty much within the ability of most who will attempt this and maybe you spec stuff out such as battery capacity and the airflow rate and so on at the end or summary. (at the price you gave that's likely only a 50 AH 12 volt lithium, Im still wondering)

I was convinced that brake drum was pressed on. Had to cut an old Allen wrench to get the wheel bolts loose and was just about to make a tool to remove the ratcheting mechanism on the other side when I figured there must be a better way. Thanks for the vid.

Okay so now I need to put the bar back in.. but I don't remember how the nuts and bolts are supposed to go back in. Lol

I broke my screwdriver.. now what do I use to open it up? Lol I was hammering on it and it just broke right off from the handle. Lol

I would look for food grade materials that are ROHC certified. Restrictions on hazardous compounds. I would be very leery about pumping that stuff into my lungs. Especially under pressure.
