I've been using Pi4J for a few years and I really want to watch this to hear somebody else's opinion of it, maybe learn a few new things. But an hour and 16 minutes!? C'mon, at least buy me dinner first.
Andreas Kling is an inspiring person. I stopped drinking alcohol and started building things again because of him.
NICE AWES0ME VIEW * 🎉✨🎉✨🎭💻🖥⌨🖱🎚🎛🎧🎹🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵
Interesting interview with lots of background information for a great tool that make live with Java easier.
Nice to see Randal back, even as a co-host.
I recommending searching the youtubes for a video called "PHP doesn't suck (anymore)". The language and runtime has come a loooong way. It might be a good idea to talk to someone about Laravel.
For clarity WSL2 is virtualization.
Is it me or is there a delay with the audio?
Great talk! Looking forward to the release!
First! 😁😆
Thank you for the shoutout on the podcast! 🥰
brilliant conversation !
It seems so that there is no video, only a single snapshot. Is it intentional?
We started video back up on episode 788.
Paweł looks like chicken little
_Paul Tarvydas would like to know your location_
Paweł seems to be a very ambitious person.
Paweł seems to be nice person! 😄
I really appreciate young programmers like Paweł Karaś for their open-minded creativity that isn't hampered by years of doing things in an accepted way. BTW - the busybox question was a good one.
Great interview! Was great hearing about all the capabilities of the build framework
Is it worth investing in this ipo?
A large userbase/community is essential for a new user. By that logic, I would completely ignore Zorin and keep them on Mint Cinnamon (non-Debian).
Project website?
What is the project website? Can you please put it in the description?
we need a video version of this
if you're in Idaho and looking to mesh, hit me up, in Caldwell. lets do it!

Getting one node up high, (or 3 in our case) is absolutely a game changer! The coverage and reliability of message delivery is SO much better along with the range increase.
can you go into a little more detail about this?
Altitude is your friend. The higher the node the better the coverage. Line of Sight is much easier with the radio up high@@ToolFoolz
Quite interesting with history of Meshtastic and the persistent challenges with managing a mesh network. I guess this is not a request channel, but it would be so neat if discovery would work globally so say a MQTT GW could build a routing map of its local mesh and build a global map from the other MQTT servers and work with hold and forward, so like GSM, any client anywhere can message anyone else on-air or not. It should be possible to do and still have the pure local functionality as fallback. would require a Raspberry pi or other more capable hardware and possibly a stricter unique node naming convention, i.e. only a few names to choose from based on the unique node ID? Edit: You guys are already working and thinking about just that.
Thanks for having us again. Always a pleasure to join Jonathan and chat all things Meshtastic!
Thanks for having Dave over, guys! #LibreQoS
