I love the old Jags. I remember when I was 5 or 6 getting a lift in my friends mums MK2, the leather, the wood, the power, the sound was intoxicating to me even then. Jags were always beautiful cars and genuinely stirred the heart. I didn't buy my first Jag until I was in my 50s, I'd been through BMW, Lexus, Mercedes and it finally came that I could afford a Jag I wanted, a 2008 XF 3.0ltr petrol V6 premium luxury. When I got in it the sensations of my 5 year old self came flooding back and I knew I was home. That car developed a gearbox problem (not Jags fault as it's a ZF box) and that is still being resolved. But meanwhile I found and bought an X351 3.0ltr supercharged portfolio with only 16,000 miles on it, 2013 model with the 8 speed box and the upgrades associated with that face-lift. I absolutely love it. The XF was good but this is next level. The styling of these cars created a lot of controversy but I think they look stunning, they're imposing, aggressive yet flowing and sleek. Jag had to modernise or they'd at best been another Morgan and at worst gone out of business all together but in my view they nailed it. You can't look at an XJ and a 7 series or an S class or A8 and say that those other cars look better, the XJ stands out a country mile compared to those euroboxes.

Beautiful i would take the 575 and the series 1 v12 and also the broadspeed.i would add an early xj40 3.6 sovereign and a v12 xj40.then xjr models with the 300.308 and a 358.i just have to win the lottery. Also an early pre xjs and an xkrs.and an f type svo and my jaguar collection would be complete !

I quite like the idea of one of these again, but the twinair version. Superb car.

Seriously though, ANYTIME you need a Volunteer Driver, or someone to; Take Notes, Write a Review or just get away from the family for a few weeks ! + I have experience ! In 1995 I was Co-driver in a Re-conditioned Ambulance full of Meds and Equipment for the Children's Hospital in Mazyr in S.East Belarus. This was to create a connection to establish a Charitable Group in the City. And that was 4000+km's of no frills except occasionally getting a Toilet Block clean enough to shave and have a "whore's bath" - and if you've done that then you'll need no explanation ! 🤐
