WOW WOW
I love this
When you're on your horse and riding in the country you are one with God
affordable housing
And i guess 100% Caucasian , and the original land owners... just things that aren't here anymore.
From 10:18 - 12:56 ❤ Alien
Leftism and state govt corruption ruined the entire state, the Sound most of all. The Sound was like heaven to me for 50 years. The past decade of leftism has absolutely ruined everything that was once so perfect about the PNW.
I remember putting my hand on the window to make the train go; Frederick and Nelson. Frederick Chavré of Maple Valley
Sweet memories. Coming down from SE Alaska on dad's fishing boat, going to Woodland Park and seeing Bobo. The World's Fair & a million silver dollars inside a circular glass container, John Glenn's "Friendship 7" on display after he orbited the Earth. Seeing the Beatles at the Coliseum. Seattle Pop Festival in Woodinville in 69. Too many good memories (as if there can ever be too many!)
I remember seing this and I was stunned. It was so beautiful. What a genius! Lucky people there at the time to view this treasures.
Great stuff! Thanks for posting this! I love listening to all of em.
who directing the choir?
Nice cover! Love the vocals. Nailed it.
Loving this lady, my mother is Ernestine Morgan Cox. Big sister of the late great Lee Morgan my uncle Lee. 🎺
Pure gold this video
I love how peaceful nature looks and feels. Thanks for the video, I have learned a lot.
I really enjoyed this, thanks!!
It's been nearly 50 years since I played lead French Horn on this composition. I still remember my breathing patterns and can pick my part out whenever I hear it. I truly love this symphony. 30 minutes to shove all of life's insanity aside. To find harmony and balance.
hard to believe this beautiful symphony was composed nearly 100 years ago. the horns are great and the strings just sing. thanks for posting
Thank you
Make to include safe streets, and happy citizens, those don't exist in Seattle anymore either.
Does nothing for me. Where's the memorable melodies? Or just one?
Very well done. Thanks!
Cette mélodie est merveilleuse merci de ce cadeau 🎁 j'aime ❤
It still breaks my heart that they didn't save Kalakala and make it a floating Casino or Museum or something on the waterfront... it would have been an iconic tourist destination... what a missed opportunity. Not to mention keeping the streetcars, beautiful old architecture and Frederick and Nelsons, etc... what massive losses...
So Dave, when they were pleading for Contributions to find "SAVE THE Ka-Klunka-La (our elders' nickname for the overly Noisy boat) ON A SHOESTRING", did you Cough Up and toss into the Black Hole in the Water, $10? $25?.$50? Heart Breaking 💔 especially if one had the Means to give, which I did not, nor did I for the Lumber Schooner Wawona or to merely keep the USS Missouri and historically significant Ferries San Mateo and I think Enetai + the Virginia V around... So, you may see, there's Wishful Hope and my own Reality which isn't going to a 💔. I ain't Walter Cronkite, but -- "That's (just) the Way It Is".
Old Irish Proverb: "If Wishes Were 🐎🐎🐎 Horses. Beggars Would Ride".
@@rayjones7313 I was just a kid when it happened... so no I didn't... wtf is your problem?
So nicely done! Thank you for posting this.
Best Gospel Choir in Seattle and the World !
Very nice!!! Love this..good job Michael I miss seeing you at Denver Stock show
Masterclass. Amazing how far guitar amplification has come in 30 or 40 yrs. Not always for the better tho...
Does anyone know who the female bassist with Lefty Dizz is?
Sylvia embry , make my day !
@@chukka62 thank you!
Movements: 00:01 - 1. Adagio / Allegro moderato 13:17 - 2. Andante con tenerezza 20:00 - 3. Allegro con brio
Fredrick and Nelsons was my fav store.
😪😪😓😭
Cool seeing the footage from Aqua Theater. I used to jog around Greenlake when I was in college at UW, and stopped by what appeared to be an old run-down amphitheatre, and since then I always wondered what kinds of shows they did there. Comic diving? Would have been fun to see.
Magnificent every time I return to listen to it. Love Hanson and the Seattle Symphony.
She is SUCH an underrated artist. Truly one of the greatest ever. Shame so many people will never discover her ❤
Thank you .
Great Blues 💙💙🎤🎸🎼🎵🎶💙🌟💙🌟💙🌟💙🌟💙🌟⭐️💫
😮😮😮😮😮......If these ranches/farms and cowboys weren't so arrogant and think if anyone not born with reins in one hand a rope in the other and spurs on both feet doesn't have a right to be a cowboy or deserve an opportunity to learn.
😂😂😂😂.....If you like working ALL the TIME for peanuts. 24/7/365 days a year
I was there.. You had to get there early to see the old Blues guys. Sam Chatman was my favorite. They still have the Delta Blues Fest in Greenville, but its mostly Southern Soul now.
I suggest reading, "Son of the Profits" a fun history of Seattle. ;-)
I still miss Frederick & Nelson, used to go shopping and to lunch with my girlfriends on Saturday -- we thought we were so grown up at age 22.
3rd movement begins at 20:00
Thank you! I loved this choir, it;s so wonderful to hear them again!
Boyd Rivers!!! Never heared of him before. Fantastic stuff
Brings back some memories - I used to play that number with her in NYC. She was great to work for, sweet lady.
What was Thea foss maiden name?
Gary is outstanding
I miss Casa Lupita on Eastlake - the best chilis rellenos ever.
