WTF! Have you seen any of the match he have played? I have. He was one of the best player last 2 years in norway since solskjaer took over as manager in molde. And you say norwagian league is no good. Molde played 1-1 away agains Basel in 2012, they had bad luck and missed a penalty in 93min of the game. Then they would won away against a team who beat man utd at home ground. On this video they did not show his freekick skills. He dont look strong but he is. he read other players movement good.

BTW I am Norwegian and i must be honest and tell you all that forren going to southampton is acctually going in Liverpools favour Norwegian fotball sucks and forren is not at all a Great player, YET...he could ofcourse get allot better after a few years in EPL but after 3 games in Southampton hes yet to get playtime and seems like hes having trouble adapting to the English style of playing, EPL is at lvl 10 in diffrence to Norwegian top league at lvl 2-3

Liverpool have invited Norway central defender Vegard Forren for a week's trial with a view to a permanent move. The Premier League club has not yet agreed a fee for the 24-year-old Molde centre-back and, despite reports to the contrary, no medical has been arranged. Forren travelled to Merseyside on Monday and will begin his trial at the Melwood training ground on Tuesday. Interest from Southampton and Reading could yet complicate the situation, with Molde looking for about £4m.

Don't know much about Forren but we definately need more power in the air at centre half. Skrtel and Agger good defenders but regularly getting out muscled by big strikers. Benteke and Kenwyne Jones are recent examples and they're no world beaters. Another Sami Hyppia would be nice.
