U should be more patient when seeking to overtake. Think ahead about where you want to overtake someone, what’s the best spot on the track to overtake without compromising ur lap times too much. You will also avoid more contact by being more patient as you will have to anticipate what the driver in front is doing. Patience and consistency gets u good results Also in karting u should only go for an overtake if ur alongside another kart purely because of awareness, you dont have mirrors. Most ppl will take the natural racing line unless ur beside them cos they will see you at that point. Going for late dives/lunges is very risky, and can ruin both of ur races

Hmm, the guy in yellow helmet had every right to take that line, you weren't alongside, hardly half a kart & just a late lunge.

This looks reckless to me. Barging people out of the way, then lifting hand as if it's their fault. Also, I thought they instruct us not to touch kerbs (damage to their karts) or will get warning boards? Especially turn 2, that's a big kerb to hit, & you take all of it. You're fast for sure, but to miss all them red lights, when you clearly experienced, what?

The first two were crap, but after that you lost your head and deserved the third. I would have been livid and probably would have started a yelling match with the kid that shoved you at the end. That was unacceptable and a cheap move.

Nice job on recovering from almost being spun out on the chicane!, those bigger karts seem to have a lot more grip than the smaller karts which i'm still in.One thing I would say is, when you almost got spun in the chicane (Which has happened to me a few times lol). I would only make the move if I was past the other driver, otherwise if you are side by side, the guy on the outside has nowhere to go, so they end up into the back of you. But great driving in your first senior race! :)

Nice race. Good fun to watch In my opinion .. you were a lot better than most of them. However considering how long the race was .. you were too impatient with some of your overtaking at the start of the race. I think you could have taken your time a bit more. Unfortunately that led to some contacts and getting penalised .. having to let people pass you again ... then resulted in you falling behind more and more. Some of your penalties were a joke though, especially with the guy turning in on you. Nothing you could do about that. However we could then see you getting frustrated and putting in some poorer laps. Just one of those races haha

When the guy in front of you span out, it wasn't your fault, you should have come second in that race, but well done.You have some great lines! I go to Brentwood too, probably the hardest track to overtake on I've ever done!
