Some fabric really lends itself to patchwork. That blue is stunning in the block. And the sparkle! I usually don't go for sparkly fabrics. I think I am reconsidering now. #Allreadylearnedsomethingnewthisyear

Hey Stephanie, Happy New Year I’m deciding on this box right now so watching videos. I saw Advent box, it was outstanding like 20 stars ⭐️. I didn’t get it. 😢love the Christmas Quilt in the box. Thanks for sharing.

I have enjoyed getting this years box. I’ve made several pot luck carriers for last minute gifts. Just finished the double mitt and plan to make more out of my scrap fabrics. Maybe everyone who got a pot luck carrier will be getting a matching double mitt.

I saw Janna’s demo of her BlocLoc ruler at a quilt show. After trimming the first two sides, she left the ruler in place and turned it with the fabric underneath. Slick and quick. Turn in the direction the seam is pressed so the channel will catch it and push it around. The numbers count up (1, 2, 3 …) from each end of the channel so you can slide it down to the measurement you need. Janna (RIP) was left-handed so this works for both, righties and lefties.
