Who is the young girl @ 4: 40 ?
yep, they all had to read his genius while they sang his genius. my favorite song of his, closely followed by IT'S ALL RIGHT MAMA, I AM ONLY BLEEDING. so, why was he given the Nobel Prize??
These are really great people ... I just don't see Desolation Row prettyfied successfully.. especially at Lincoln Center.. Try the Port Authority?
Super song from the noumenon🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🌹🌈
Beautiful version but the grateful dead have the best version. Good job
Bob Weir and Jerry win the prize. Sorry
Some songs should not be covered .
I love this more than I can say
I too
You’re swell!
You’re right!
Was pretty good, but too much lyric reading.
Well.....if you don't know the words and you need a cheat sheet....don't bother.
Just beautiful, such a talented group. Bless you all.
Can someone tell me what the lyric "Dr. Phil's leather cup" refers to?
Great job on this Dylan Masterpiece!!!!!!
I would love to hear Pokey record this
Bof
nice
Great version, ❤🌷🎸
This reading of lyrics trend has to stop. I like this version though!!
So happy to subscribe❤😊
So I first heard this song played by the Grateful Dead and I thought it was beautiful. Then I heard it performed by Bob Dylan and I thought, wow, even better, fantastic! And then I heard this rendition which resonates with circumspection and sincerity, the violin gently pulling at one's own heartstrings, evocative, lamentful and mournful and I thought "Holy cow! Every rendition of this song just keeps getting better, like magic, increasing in its appeal to infinity!"
Annoying
Yes, can’t go bad with this beautiful, poetic piece…thanks, Bob
i like pokey\
What an amazing band Fiona is very serious and committed with her great voice, beautiful eyes lovely face I love to watch her sing best wishes Kinnon.
I know my song well before I start singing!
Wow! Excellent
Hell - where is my barf bag ???
"Every road you take leads to Bob Dylan". Chuck Prophet was right. I love his songs and I can't say which one is the best to my ears, they're so many. But what makes this artist incredible is that plenty of covers are as good as the original recordings, even sometimes so different.
the girl with the pigtails and striped tee shirt has a great voice and is beautiful best wishes Kinnon.
The Fabulous Fiona Apple.
Are you blind people take car of everyone that is de meaning of that song of Bob Dylan
Sorry but i do not accepting the way that this blond women push her like a simple instrument of the band
I think that is the exemple of the cruel will of to be a stars. And all does singers and musicians do not mind about this yougn lady trying to have fun but not so easy for her and all of us who was there do not see it ? That is a désolation row. Sorry
Take a bow Pokey bravo.
Great ...THANK YOU
I could listen to Sara sing the phone book.
Whose the male singer
Not the easiest song to sing. These guys are good. But is also shows how easily and smoothly Dylan delivered this--and in addition to writing these incredible lyrics.
Horrible guitar sounds. Now we know what drummers are for...
I love Fiona Apple's tremolo and above all the fragility of her voice, which sometimes fades almost like smoke in the air. An outstanding performance considering the chosen tone is not in her comfort range.
safe to say this one, unlike so many other folk songs she does with this gang, isn't in her wheelhouse, but she makes it work. But Sarah's always masterful, and Shawn Colvin never fails to add a casual, barely expressed fragility to a good lyric. She is the least showy, tender heart on the sleeve singer imaginable. She's a wonder. Pokey here being a singer not a performer, is awfully good too.
4.34 .exactly❤
Dammit just have Fiona sing the whole thing
Who is the performing singing to the right of Pokey? (our right, Pokey's left side)
David Garza
thank you for posting this performance
Wonderful collaboration- I've seen Dylan do this many times (I grew up on the Newport Folk Festival) and seen it covered by a variety of folk but this is my new favorite. Many thanks to all of you,..#Musicsaveslives#
11+ minutes of magic.....
What a 💎
Good job. I liked fionna best, but all added a unique contribution
What a superb rendition.
"They're selling postcards of the hanging". For crying out loud you could talk all day about that 1st line. Lynchings and hangings WERE a public event, almost like a party, but meant to send a clear message indeed. And they did proudly take group photos sometimes. You can see many folks, young, old, women, children. Some are smiling. And people think things are bad NOW. No, no, things were much worse when they sold postcards of the hangings.
Sometimes this is just is just the right music.
Thanks. Great version of a great song of Bob Dylan.
