Good, Thx. Memories of the mower repair/sharpening business my grandfather Richard Weiss had in his garages behind his home in the 1960s in Morrisville, PA. As a little kid, I'd spend a week or two with him on summer vacation and he'd let me roll out all the mowers he stored on the side shop and blow the dirt out with an air hose. I loved doing it but it usually meant a trip to the hose bib afterwards to clean the grime off of me. Haven't thought about it much for the last 40 or so years but it was sure fun. Good Times

Drip line is always better. Especially for things like tomatoes, water can breed diseases if it sits on the leaves. And The soil can also splash back up if it's falling from above which can also cause diseases. If you're trying to avoid them burning use shade cloth. Putting water on the leaves when it's super sunny out will actually do the opposite of what you want in alot of cases

Always wondered this myself and I had same reasoning as you about rain fall. I had an aunt tell me not to wet the leaves of roses. Not sure as well about that.

To help with your kick speed, adjust your beaters a little closer to the skin of the kick drum. A 45° angle is what you’re looking for, your an inch or so off of that.

I’m 40, been playing since I was 10. One of the biggest compliments I can give you is how loose you keep your hands and wrists while you play… that is a great habit to have. If you can keep that, but make your posture a little bit more rigid, that would equal great body language on the kit. Other than that, if you really want to get good at anything on the drums, just slow it all down and work up to speed. It’s no fun, I know, but it is the quickest way to becoming competent at technique and rudiments. Good luck.

I also heard that you should look into partner planting. Like for the tomatos and strawberries, put onions with them it keeps snails away :)

Just did this for 16 hours last weekend. Jack up the mower height all the way, Push down on the back as you go, and hit it twice or three times to knock it down a bit each time. Good luck brother
