I've decided I wanted more of a challege and yes of course higher pay so I switched from Radiology school to Nursing school hoping to be done by Fall 2026! I think that it's amazing your able to provide for your kids as a single mother while going to Nursing school I would never be able to do it the stress would get to me lol.

I had figs but I took them back because the pants fit terrible and I like to be able to really move.

Congratulations!! I'm in my pre reqs for my associates and my bsn pre reqs. My school has rn to bsn program. and I'm a mom of three also. I have to in 3rd and 1st grade and my youngest is 3. I'm taking my ap2 class by itself right now so I don't over do it but next semester I'm doing micro biology and a developmental math class in the Spring. I haven't done math in forever. I also need that because I need to take the teas and their is math on it. I'm going to have about 4 more class to complete but plan on applying for nursing school after this spring semester after taking the teas just to see where I'm at. I am mom of 1, about to be 36. Haven’t been to college since 2011. Wanted to do nursing but dipped out because felt like I was smart enough to get into that profession, did medical assistanting 2012, finished the program but got discouraged by failing 2 points from passing.. and never went back… got pregnant, been a stay at home mom for a while. Then went back to school for esthetics and been doing it for 5 years… but nursing is still in my mind 😢

I am also a mom to 3 (boys: 10, 7, and 5), i share 50/50 custody with their dad as well and im planning on starting prenursing classes this January. Wooo woop! Lol! Anywho, the first video I saw of yours is the Pre-requisites one, thank you for making me feel like a mom of 3 is able to do this! 💪🏼 Don’t worry, your videos are very inspiring & helpful. Again, congratulations!!! 🎊

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so excited for you and I can't wait to see your journey unfold! And I can totally relate to the "pre-nursing burnout"! I have experienced that MULTIPLE times, especially with my A&P class because it's SO MUCH MATERIAL and it's online. I feel it would've been different if I had taken it in person. I admire your awareness and taking the LPN route given your circumstances. I have made so many mistakes in my nursing journey because I didn't take the time to really think about the repercussions it would have on my family, I was naive and ignorant and thought, "Oh I can do it!" That mindset has it's pros and cons but with a family, you really have to be aware and know what you can actually do without compromising too much of your time from your kids. But anyways, congratulations and I'm so excited for you!

I’m a mom of three thinking about going back to school for pre nursing kind of scared here

I don’t think I have ever related to someone more. I’m also a mom of three who has been a stay at home mom for 8ish years. I started pre-nursing school last November and I should graduate sometime this year. Hopefully I will be able to start nursing school after the new school year starts for the kids, because my youngest will start pre-kindergarten then. Good luck to you.
