The fucked up thing is the game is both badly and goodly optimized. My crappy laptop could run this game High settings at full res, with a stable 30 FPS but turning down the resolution and setting it to low only have like a 10FPS gain, it do be weird like that.

Tenkaichi 3 is my second favorite entry in the trilogy, thanks to its stunning presentation and excellent cinematic retelling of the story. While it doesn’t surpass the free-form, fight-to-win battles of Tenkaichi 2 in my eyes, I can still appreciate the ambitious approach taken here with the multi-stage fights involving multiple characters. It’s a unique feature that truly works and hasn’t been replicated in the same way since. Like the original Budokai trilogy, this game fully supports 480p progressive scan and why it ultimately looks much cleaner than Tenkaichi 1 or 2.

My favorite of the entire series. Tenkaichi 2 is what I consider having the best story mode, completely covering just about every single battle from the entire series up til GT, including giving each of the movies their own sagas. This is a full playthrough, split into 2 parts covering roughly the entire story mode, movies and most of the "what-if" scenarios. The character models are also drastically improved from Tenkaichi 1 with many more polygons, something this game isn't given enough credit for. Tenkaichi 2 also brings back transformations, allowing you to turn Super Saiyan and other forms in-game without having to select the character first, something that was sorely missing from 1. Lastly, the biggest improvement to me is the removal of forced conditions for the story mode in order to win fights. No longer must you complete them in specific ways and are now allowed to straight up murder your opponents, even if you canonically lost the battle.

Thank you for simplifying this process. Except for NES, Genesis and Turbografx not loading any roms, everything seems to work once I moved over my images, skins and roms. I also had to copy my psx emulator folder for that to work. Did anyone else have issues with those emulators?
