He did look very but it was only 1 game. I also think they’re better off letting him continue to develop on the marlies and call him up permanently next year:)

If they keep developing into the players I believe they can be I can definitely see that happening!

Their defence and goaltending look good. They just need scoring depth and brock can help with that. He’s had a 59, 69 and 75 point seasons in the last 3 years.

I agree and that’s why I feel like we should get something for him instead of letting him walk for nothing. Zegras is the same age but brings a little more size and is also under contract for a couple more years:) he’s shown to be more consistent than Robertson and put up points with worse teammates

Thanks for the feedback! They in fact do have cap space when not carrying 23 guys on their roster. Just what I would like to see though… nobody said anything about sources:)

I personally don’t see much value in Nick Robertson (he has proven he can’t do much in the NHL and especially with the role he’s been given here), Niemela (undersized d-man who won’t fit into the Brad type of d-man… he was a dubas guy and won’t make this lineup anytime soon), and Jarnkrok could be out a while. Only value I really see is Minten who’s a 2-3C at best and a first. You’re getting a guy who’s scored 60 points twice on a bad ducks team. He’s also on a retained contract for this year and next

@@EverydayToronto Zegras has always had poor individual underlying statistics, its part of the reason he's been passed by most of the youth movement in Anaheim. He's had 1 year where he was a good 6th forward option, every other season hes been a bottom six level player. I wouldn't want him for really anything, maybe robertson and a second at most.

I think he can provide on a team where he’s not so relied upon. Also like I mentioned in the video adding him to the second line would push down our line of Patches, JT and Willy which would give us a 3rd line that can score (we don’t have that). We’ve seen depth scoring be a continuous problem in the playoffs and with our D-core and goaltending that looks way better than years past I think you can afford a guy who’s not the best on the defensive side (especially pairing him with 2 defensively responsible players)

Totally agree! Would be a spark for our second line and provide more depth:)

Robertson has plenty upside, Nashville have nothing going for them right now except evangelista. Maybe add in Gregor and a pick

@@Souplyatwork Is he good? He is small so maybe high shots are little problem. Although I haven't watched him playing for years.

@@jps8678 Vezina finalist in 22, finished fourth in the vezina voting last year and sixth in 21, his first as the bonafide #1 in Nashville. He is one hundred percent legit.

Both expiring contracts on a Calgary team that looks to be lost right now. Tanev also isn’t the youngest of players so why not build up the asset pool and bring in a younger Connor Timmins and Nicholas Robertson who hasn’t been given a lot of opportunity
