Dimash is a genius! A great storyteller and paradigm breaker! Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing... The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. As background music, he uses the work “Flower Duet” (Lakimé) by Léo Delibes. To create an old and suspenseful atmosphere, he does not use the 1968 edition and recording, by Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbié, but rather the original version from 1915, sung by Alexandrovna Mikhailova and Ivanovna Panina, recorded with a gramophone! The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! Chanté was nominated for a Grammy, plus she produced ten albums. Her extensive experience shows here in her comfort on stage, fingers-snapping and bouncing around. She can easily meet Dimash and go toe to toe with him. And they are having a blast! Dimash even giggles at one point. Most Dimash fans would like to see them do some duets in the future. They absolutely had the best duet in the duets competition, but didn’t win. 🎉❤🎉

In this presentation, back to "The Singer" (I'm a Singer 2024), Dimash participates as a guest and Chanté Moore competes for the award. Chanté was a contestant in "Singer" 2024, and in thus episode the show invited guest stars as a supporting duet partner for each contestant. The song was Chanté's choice. That's how this performance happened. Dimash let Chanté shine, an restrained himself. I heard Chanté the first time, loved their duet very much! ❤❤

I have also learned over the years to not really care what most ppl think about me. At the end of the day, as long as YOU are happy with what YOU are trying to accomplish, that's all that matters... Although, it does help when you have somebody who supports your decisions and does what they can to help make your aspirations a reality.
