Im dominican myself and I dont agree with what Modesto Palmer said below. This is PROFESSIONAL bachata. Obviously, they are not going to dance like we normally dance. It would be boring to watch. The turns, the fast movements, and the lifts are what make it so exciting to watch! Dont worry about these ignorant haters. You are not disrespecting anyone. You are doing what you love and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Hi Kathy, I am Dominican and i love the way you guys dance, don't pay attention to the haters... yo soy vegana del puro cibao, la diferencia es que en Dom.. Rep is 99% footwork and hips, very little turns, but i like the turns!!! cause it can get boring with just footwork..keep on the good work.
