You're feeling very hurt for whatever reason just because you're having to accept that these people, who have been persecuted for years, have finally been given rights. Their rights don't infringe on yours. You keep living the way you did. They just get to live a life with a little more certainty.

@@richalderson6069 the trouble here is that you seem to only care for the latter word in your own statement. The 'women/men' part. What you fail to realise is the 'trans' part that separates these people from women/men. They're TRANS-women. They're not claiming to be CIS-women. As per your question, having an opinion is fine, but respecting another person's choice in being who they are is another. I'll happily respect their decision in correcting the mistake nature made prior to birth. Only they know how they feel, and as someone who doesn't walk in their shoes or experience the feelings they experience, I can't tell them how they should feel or identify. THAT is the difference here. Not sure how people who don't experience these feelings think its okay to tell others how they should feel/identify when they themselves aren't qualified to do so.
That’s because trans women of that era were DIFFERENT. They were very proud and strong and didn’t have a victim mentaIity. They also didn’t try to change bioIogy or caII scientific facts transphobic. They were aware of the fact that they had maIe bodies and didn’t try to pressure straight men or Iesbians into dating them because “women can have ‘🍆s too”. And most of today’s trans women don’t seem to care about bioIogicaI women or fitting in with them and forming a sisterhood with them like trans women of the past. They just want them to shut up and stop complaining and be their allies, and if they don’t they’ll caII them terfs, which is a new sIur created specificaIIy to siIence women and put them in their pIace. If I didn’t know any better I’d say that’s the epitome of “toxic mascuIinity”
