The late Pandit Dinkar Kaikini's first composition, written and set to Raag Bhupali in 1943 at the age of 16. This was when he was learning Kathak on the side with Pt Mohanrao Kallianpurkar and was a गंडाबंध शागिर्द of Lacchan Maharaj in Lucknow. At that young age, he had not yet started using the nom de plume Dinarang by which he is known in his later compositions. नही माने, नही माने, यशोदा तुम्हरो कन्हाई । तू तो काही ना का समझावत दिन दिन नटखट, ठठोरी करत हमसे बरजोरी सही न जाये, सही न जाये ॥
