Healing loudly
Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry: Part 54
I joined Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) in 2012. I thought that this was a "normal" ministry school, but I quickly learned BSSM was something else entirely. Some of their core beliefs include miraculous healings, prophetic words, raising people from the dead and fire tunnels.
In this series, I am going to walk you through what it is like to be a student at Bethel. Oh, and how a "prophet" said God was "giving" me to my ex-husband. This "prophet word" almost cost me my life.

Glad you filed charges against Ted
❤❤❤❤❤❤
You MUST expose these charlatans!!!!!!!God bless, may He care you through and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't loose faith in Christ, leave the charismaniac movement and join a sound Baptist church. God bless.
Anyone who can't figure out your authentic heart and reason why you're sharing...should move on and stay silent. Shame on them! I've learnt a lot from your story..thank YOU!
Thank you for your videos.
Call this coward out by name. We'll take care of it.
Jubilee, i am praying for you. Those cowards that say they are Christians are as far from Christian as possible. I offered Shawn 10k to prove in a room of 100 that he was a prophet. However, the comment was deleted and no response. Bethel is not a church, they are a horrible cult that has nothing to with Christianity. Just let us know if you need anything. Us real Christians have your back.
These people gave you HORRIBLE advice. “Ted” is responsible for his own actions and it seems like he had shady character. I’m so sorry no one stood up for you
He probably did not tell his doctor. If he did and his doctor actually said that...shame on him. By law he has to say something and report the abuse.
I'm judging you as blessed! I too met my wonderful husband shortly after leaving my abusive, narcissistic ex.
You’re a strong woman. God bless ❤
A guy almost killed you yet you never reported him To the police. I guess he’s prolly abusing someone else now.
What. Did you not watch the video?!?
Why didn’t she get him arrested?? He’s prolly abusing a new woman now.
I’m wondering too. But she’s not done with her story
Many charismatic churches, like Bethel, want to experience the power and manifestations of the Holy Spirit, but what they are really experiencing are manifestations of demons. These churches are well-meaning, but wrong, because well-meaning churches succumb to deceiving spirits. They desire to experience the power of God, but they do not have a clue that what they are experiencing are demonic manifestations. Not only that, but they mistake the demonic manifestations for the power of God. Because people are hungry for attention and acceptance; spiritual gifts, like prophecy, gives them identity and purpose. Unknowingly, they cover up their wounds and bondages by hiding behind these spiritual gifts. I believe one of the main reasons God wants to bestow spiritual gifts upon born-again believers is to promote spiritual growth and character development, not to become a symbol of spiritual power in their lives. The gifts should be exercised by the believers to get their own, and other people’s, lives cleaned-up (i.e. healed and delivered) from the wounds and bondages that so easily assail them. Christians who operate in the gifts to gain more spiritual power will do anything to avoid looking at and dealing with their own pain. They cover up their pain by letting everybody know how powerful they are. Showing pain is looked at in many Christian circles as a sign of weakness. By covering up his weaknesses, Ted had appeared to others as spiritually gifted (i.e. anointed). It brought him power and attention. However; because Ted did not have a clear understanding of healing and deliverance, instead of Bethel leading him to a place of freedom and restoration, they led him down a road of death, darkness, desolation and destruction.
Are you going to church? What Christian group are you hanging with?
Why in the fuck did you not report him to the police?? Because he may be choking someone now.
Jubilee, don't listen to the haters. I'm glad you're exposing Bethel, all their false prophets, and abuse in the church. Making money exposing these clowns is a bonus.
Please stop… the healing journey for you does not included posting 52 episodes about Bethel and your marriage… it is the private work between you and God that will bring healing. There is already enough Bethel heresy hunting on TH-cam. Praying you find safety in the Lord and am genuinely sorry for your journey with Bethel, husband, etc..
No❤
If they wanted to check scriptures for how to respond to this, they could start in the Old Testament with this: false prophets were taken out of the community and stoned. Same thing could be applied to the adulterous husband. He also violated the command in the New Testament to love his wife as Christ loves the church. Oh, but these religious hypocrites NEVER have any true understanding of the entirety of scripture, they just enjoy misusing a few verses here and there to condemn others and elevate themselves.
Thx
2/2 Also, I've listened from the beginning due to my interest in your experiences at Bethel. It's truly tragic to hear how many end up deconstructing their faith in continuationism, in God's moral standards, and even many who deconstruct their entire faith in Jesus/God after being exposed to counterfeits (false apostles, prophets, teachers, doctrines). I'm thankful you still believe in God/Jesus, but regret to hear you've departed from a belief in true continuationism and Biblical morality - both of which are still real and for today. I humbly hope to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord to guide you into all Truth and to deliver you from all error and deception - to keep seeking to know Him (the REAL God, Jesus, Holy Spirit), His Word, His will, His ways, and all in Spirit and in Truth, and not through distortion or deception from the enemy. It is quite normal for people coming out of one extreme of error to overcorrect and end up in a ditch of error on the opposite side of the road. We went through this as well and our merciful God was thankfully able to bring us out of these false belief systems both times, but only because we kept humbly seeking Him and crying out for TRUTH and not to be deceived. There are unfortunately counterfeits in the charismatic community that present "another Jesus" - not the real Jesus revealed by God's Word - but "progressive Christianity" is presenting "another Jesus" as well. Praying for you in your journey. May God heal you from all you've been through spirit, soul, and body.
But continuationist or charismatic beliefs actually are hugely problematic. Historically, after the apostles had passed away, churches grounded in sound doctrine did not claim to speak in tongues, speak prophetic words about the future, perform signs and wonders or have a gift of healing (as in, one person with a special gift who can heal many serious illnesses or injuries like what we see in the Bible). Charismatic beliefs arose in more recent history in America and have influenced Christianity around the world. In past centuries, churches who claimed to have these more sensational appearances of the Spirit were heretical or cultish. Because our pastors have done a poor job of explaining this, we’ve grown up believing this stuff is normal, and thus, we have many churches now like Bethel
Girl read the Bible, the whole Bible. Then you won’t be manipulated by those false teachings. And you’ll see how God put a lot of laws in Old Testament to protect women.
So sorry to hear of insult added to injury through people’s ignorant reactions. The truth is you already had Biblical grounds for divorce due to his porn viewing and strip clubbing. Jesus made clear that qualifies as adultery. I don’t believe God wants people to stay in situations of abuse where there is no genuine repentance/change. We’re always required to forgive, but we’re not required to reconcile. Too many conflate these things. Reconciliation should require genuine repentance (meaning change, not just remorse). Situations of abuse might not always give someone Biblical grounds to remarry if they divorce, but in reality, in those cases it’s highly likely that adultery is also occurring (porn or otherwise) that would give them Biblical grounds even for remarriage - and God can bring that to light when we ask Him to. So sorry for the nightmare you’ve endured. 1/2 (Wondering if you've seen this passage - where God not only says He hates divorce, but that He also hates violence in marriage) For the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I hate divorce and marital separation and him who covers his garment [his wife] with violence. Therefore keep a watch upon your spirit [that it may be controlled by My Spirit], that you deal not treacherously and faithlessly [with your marriage mate]. Malachi 2:16 AMPC
I have been saved for 35 years. I have never met a christian who would think staying in that marriage was the right answer. I feel like you might have grown up in a "cult" and were drawn to another one out of subconsciously being at home in one. I am very saddened by the news of Bethel and Bill Johnson who was my favorite online pastor to listen to. But they seem highly dysfunctional to me now. Thank you for sharing your difficult experience but please protect yourself. Who's to say these videos won't set "Ted" off?
You would be surprised to know it’s actually the norm for people in churches of every denomination to advise couples to stay together even when a partner is crazy and dangerous. It’s not coming from a deep understanding of scripture or God’s heart but from self righteousness. One of my friends went to a pastor’s wife to describe the mental abuse she was suffering, with details that were a classic case of the initial stages of what leads to a physically violent relationship. The pastor and his wife told her to be obedient and respectful to her husband. I guess it’s just easier to say these things than to confront the psycho.
Did you say that you were a Christian in high School and yet dated an atheist and slept with him?
Not at any point did God want you with someone who did this to you!! God loves you more than the institution of marriage.
Lots f abuse and lots of Un biblically treatment of a husband Good Lord!
❤
Don’t listen to them. You are helping people. Thank you for your channel. I was in a church heavily influenced by Bethel. It almost killed me. I have PTSD. I was always treated like I had a demon rather than simply being ill. I finally left that church and since then, have been diagnosed with cPTSD and my healing journey finally began. You keep doing sharing your story. It’s does help.
Genuinely curious and not trying to make you feel guilty at all.. but why not get law enforcement involved? It may have saved some other women pain too? Idk the whole story so I’m just asking a question
Totally Agree. She had a responsibility to report him to keep him from abusing others. It seems she’s riding this stream of victim to gain views and sympathy. Jubilee. You should have gotten him arrested so other women would not suffer.
How dare you. After all she suffered. How dare you put on her the responsibility of whatever that psycho decides to do. Has she not suffered enough? Jubilee, no. Dont feel guilty for departing. Dont feel its your fault whatever that dude does in the future. It's unfair to the victim to put all this pressure on her. Stop it
I definitely think he was lying about confessing.
He was absolutely manipulating you and lying. And, you will most likely find out he had other women while he was with you. Did he ever let you see his phone? If he’s a typical narcissist, probably not, but I bet he had TOTAL access to yours.
Yup. I live in the town just north of Redding and was appalled at the absolute predatory actions of the Bethel machine as it preyed on the grief of one of their own for religious clout.
“And my friend said, but it’s not like he’s abusive….” 🤯🤯🤯🤯 Me alone in my car: WHAT?!?!
John 3:16 New International Version For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
You should have pressed charges so Ted would not abuse other women
Hi, Jubilee just seen one of your videos on Justin Peters TH-cam channel. He was very supportive of your story and exposing the antics of SBz. Power to you Jubilee !! Pray you are still able to enjoy your relationship with God. The Lord bless you and hubby real good 🙏
You mention that (false prophet and liar) Shawn Boltz told you to marry Ted. When I went back to listen to the actual false prophecy that Shawn gave, he said that "God is giving you (Ted) this girl (Jubilee)." Shawn didn't say that he told you to marry him.
Semantics - it depends on how she interpreted the supposed 'prophecy'. The problem is that these churches put these 'prophets' on such a pedestal that those within the church begin to listen to supposed 'prophets' as ones who hear from the Lord instead of teaching that we can all hear from the Lord ourselves. I have been in another well know Charismatic circle and have seen this time and again. Her story isn't the only one- she just chooses to be a whistleblower and needs to be supported.
Dude you are sick . Don't try to defend that false prophet and devil shawn boltz that dude is going to hell if he doesn't repent. Jubilee almost died because of strangulation. These people at bethel and charismatic circles are evil.
Right, she does make reference to the careful wording these prophets use to get around Bethel’s policy of not giving prophetic words about dates, mates, or babies. The way he brought up the supposed prophecy about Jubilee was crafted in such a way that he didn’t directly violate the policy, but obviously he knew how a dating couple would interpret his message.
@@JesusismyLORD1993exactly
You do what you think is right. You have helped many people with your story!
church i grew up in had dating rules/guidelines, some were really stupid , others were kinda sensible. but the way some pastors punished kids for varying degrees of closeness was in hindsight, pervy, as in , asking for details, before kicking out of church for anywhere from 1 week to 6 months. if people got more than 6 months, it was kinda given that they nearly went all the way. and in my case, the pressure to confess along with guilt and shame , led to excomunication and not being allowed back until i marred her.
Those commenters sound like enablers and possible abusers.
I dont know if he indeed confessed to his doctor. It could've been a ploy. I know I've heard the "I'll get counseling" far more times than I can name. As for those who say, "Just leave, already." They don't get the amount of mental manipulation, all the descions involved, the terror of starting over, and every thought that goes through your already fogged thinking. Retrospectively, it's easy to see where we went wrong. Now that we're thinking nationally. But, rational thinking isn't available in situations like this, and that is why it's so important to have someone outside of the situation who knows. They will be your best bet for clear thinking. I know that you know now. This is mostly for anyone who is thinking of leaving. Let someone else think for you. Because, trust us, you can't. God bless💗🙏
❤❤❤
I hope you make a billion dollars!! Your story is unbelievably VALUABLE!!!! Keep it up!!! The bible calls us to mark and expose the doers of darknes, which you are! Praise God!!!
Mark and Avoid Ephesians 5:11
Oh, wow. So good… perfect respond🎉
It’s called a risk assessment. I did mine the first time sitting in the legal aid office. I was trying desperately not to fall apart publicly as it slowly sank in that I was in an abusive marriage. I had never thought my abuse was “that bad”. The lawyer when she saw my assessment told me she refused to help me unless I filed a restraining order. I was heartbroken and left after her pressuring. I needed the child support and my ex had security clearance. If he had a restraining order against him, I would’ve been penniless. My ex wouldn’t let me work and I was homeschooling my two kids. I did end up getting the divorce but it took a lot longer and I didn’t get half of what I was entitled to. I just wanted out. It was a huge thing to trust in God for my provision when I had no job, and no support system. But yet God provided.
I'm so glad you're alive and well. Praying for continued healing and blessings for you! We have to warn women about these situations. Don't listen to the haters trying to shame you into silence.
Crazy story, girl. 😳 I'm glad you found freedom.
Are you going to a good church now?
I was never attached to Bethel in any way except by association through the IHOP cult. I had heard about Olive's story when it happened and was amazed that Bethel never got called out in a meaningful way or seemed to lose any momentum to the ministry as a result. My heart goes out to the parents for their loss and anyone caught up in the deceptive and oftentimes hurtful practices of these religious groups.
