That's bad. A visiting ringer should always be asked to ring, even if it's only rounds. After all, how would they feel if they were visiting a tower where ringing was taking place and not asked to join in. I ring somewhere where the bells are challenging to many (even very good ringers) but we would NEVER not invite visitors to ring. That's just plain good manners.
@rockymountainradio Well I could ring rounds, and had rung 12 at Gloucester and 14 at Winchester, but they never asked, but I always looked young for my age, dont complain too much!! I am sure I will get a grab next time... We tend to go to London semi-regularly so plenty of chances!!

@rockymountainradio As far as I am aware, Bow shouldnt be too hard to get. THe one tower I wouldnt mind a grab at in London is Westminster Abbey!!
