My modified version of Ackerman(rpsubc8) Vectrex emulator that outputs to the ESP32’s DAC pins instead of a vga display. This enables it to display real vector graphics on an Oscilloscope. Code is in github github.com/OzmoOzmo/ESP32TinyVectrex -Just connect the two dac pins on the ESP32 (pin 25 and 26) to the scope channels (Swap X and Y leads around if the image is rotated) -connect one GND on...

Seen that prop more than once, it was also in Airplane II.
how
Hi- I used the two frequency generators shown as a left and right input to a car audio amplifier and connected the output of the amplifier to the two coils of the crt tv that control the electron beam. Changing the frequencies created the interesting patterns which have a name they are called Lissajous curves. Ive since boxed it all up and made it standalone and portable - must do another video on it… :D
Are you thinking of doing a season 4 of the Go jetters ? I love this cartoon so much but if I’m 14 yrs
Man, this is rad. I have dreams of plugging this into a Scopeman(Watchman) for pocket analog Vectrex action. I wish I knew enough to help tweak it to run at full speed and implement audio. Maybe one day!

I need a job your company
I'm from India.. I have 10 years of experience in glass container manufacturing company. Can anybody help me to find a job in other country? Now I'm also working.
That was the last glass container factory in Ireland that closed - maybe try UK if you want to continue to work in that area - I don't know what's involved - but try youtube video nGrSzz0OTnI as a starting point for UK...? Good luck.

this is amazing to watch, my step father worked there for 36 years, amazing to see what it was like
Glad you liked it- it was an amazing place to visit- noisy and smelled like hot oil and steam. Everyone drank tea from jam jars which could be remelted after one use rather than washing up.. lol.
@@AmbroseClarke omg my step dad told me about the jam jars lol lol, the guy still drinks lots of tea and coffee

They've ruined our town.
I also do remember Ronnie Drew doing a promo video for IGB in the 90's. That's how I stumbled upon this - I was searching for the promo video
Wow. I've just found this video now. I worked in IGB from '89 to '99. Your dad, Ambrose taught me how to be a furnace controller. He is an absolute gentleman and brilliant mentor. I loved night shifts in the control room with Ambrose. Always an interesting conversation. Thanks a million for this.

Excellent video my dad worked there for over forty years same name as myself. I have his 25 years service watch. Iworked on number 8 for a while myself in the late eighties. Thanks for putting this up.
It really was a village!
Thanks for the video. Would love a DVD copy. IGB was a great place to work in and totally unnecessarily closed. There was a promo video that Ronnie Drew made for the company too, but I only seen it the once when I started there.
Thanks - My Dad has in his notes a booklet with Ronnie Drew doing the promo. Havn't seen his video though.
My Da (George Brady) worked there for years and then I got an apprenticeship to be a fitter/turner. I think I was there from 1996-2000

I live in Kenya.. Anyone know Mick Mc namara a total gentleman from clondalkin? Lost contact with him years ago..
I remember Mick. A fitter and a gent.
@@evanwakefield2381 Thanks buddy I appreciate your reply and it's obviously true you knew him because of you kind words describing him accurately. I heard he was sick maybe 12 years ago and lost complete contact with him and always have a feeling they he is no longer with us. Do you know if he is still around but my gut feeling is he has passed. Thanks Evan for your text I really appreciate it.. Gerry Durran is my name From Dublin..
@@Marlondurran Hi Gerry, unfortunately I don't know anything further about Mick. I bumped into him once after the bottle house closed, but that was many moons ago. I hope life was good to him afterwards, himself and his mate Jim Lawlor were very good and helpful to me in the job, they gave me some of their taps and dies when we were finishing up that I still have and use.
@@evanwakefield2381 Ah ok Evan I really appreciate your reply. I never worked with Mick but we became friends when I meet him and his family in the roadstone social club and we use to have great crack . I do believe in my heart that he has passed but really don't want to believe it. It's great you have fond memories of him as I do and I appreciate your reply. Greetings from very hot Mombasa Kenya where there is no corona and many bar's open. Take care of yourself and thanks again for replying ...,👍👍👍❤️
@@Marlondurran Hi Gerry! Brian Keogh here in Dublin-worked with Mick & Jimmy Lawlor in IGB until 2001 when I left just before it shut down for good. Remember Mick often mentioned you and your wife from Sunday nights in the 'Roadstone' club. Mick unfortunately passed away from cancer in 2011 (I think it was around the time of the Queens visit here if I'm not mistaken) A real gentleman, taught me a lot about just about everything in life. Remembered fondly and sadly missed by all who knew him
Noooooooooo😱
40 yrs my oldman worked there ..Dermot Delaney or smokey as his nickname was in the job..great little video thanks for sharing
Thanks - Ill mention him to my dad when I seem him tomorrow (he's the one giving the tour in the above video if your dad remembers him) . I have another video that I have been putting off putting up as it needs a Lot of editing and voice over work - its a video taken over a few months of the rebuilding of the factory that happened only a few years previous to this - walkthroughs inside the furnace etc.
AmbroseClarke ..My dad passed away in 2015.. but I'm sure your father would have known him..he was a forklift driver.. ye would be great to see the other video hopefully you can get it up..thanks again
As a truck driver,I loaded out of i.G.b.and Smokey loaded me many times, I can remember he had his name sprayed onto the fork lift truck. Am sorry about your loss, He always loaded me promptly.

Thats Me! I've create my own channel now....
Hi David :)
Very weird why did they dump in castlefield woods
Dodgy builders told Fingal they would do the work cheap/free because they like to use the small building in the photo for meetings and the parking wasn't good enough for them. When presented with this video Fingal made them come back with shovels and remove all the old tarmac they dumped over the railings into the neighbouring estate - fix the mess they made as well as reduce the size of the extended car park they made themselves from the green space without planning permission (it went too close to the tree bases and was in danger of killing the large trees) and reseed the ground with grass. Its not so bad again now.
That's better
I see, I think Fingal CC should look into this. Something needs to be done ASAP.
This is an amazing video and would have been missed only this gentleman had cctv. What kind of person could do such damage to someone else's estate? Is Fingal C C responsible? if so they should ensure all this damage is put right and sooner rather than later. Appalling!!!
