I know lots of baby are messy at first. Sometimes it's hard to get the spoon in their little mouth and they let the food just sit there because they are afraid to taste it so it runs out of their mouth and down the chin. That's all normal.
This baby is so cute with that smile he is giving mom. Mom there is no reason for this baby to be so dirty. He doesn’t like green beans and you are putting spoonfuls that are to big for him so he spits out half of it. A wet cloth next to the high chair would be a great idea.

Leelin R he poor kid is covered in baby food. Mom is not wiping it off his chin she just lets it build up and with every spoonful he spits half of it leaving his bib covered in baby food. I know that’s the reason for the bib but she is still leaving it on his face when a little wipe wouldn’t cleaned it easily
AshnKksmom2 Hi I understand where your coming from so maybe you can see mine and maybe That's why she is not doing it!! I have 2 daughters my younger Loved to eat and when you wiped her little face it seemed like she liked more. Then my oldest was s terrible sleeper and eater and I found out when I started her on solids she was to bad at first but then I noticed when I would wipe her mouth she would cry gag and close her mouth so tight and I had one hell of a time. So when I took Her to the Pediatrician and told him he said there was no reason for it but just let her go if she eats with a dirty face Let it go. It no problem. This lasted about 3 months and then all was right with the world. So maybe this baby is the same. Who knows what goes on in a babies mind!!!! But as long as she was eating I really didn't care.
