Woah! how long have you been studying the Elgar Concerto?

Not bad. A youth orchestra. If I didn't know, I would have thought it was grown ups playing

I was so happy when I found out this was one of their songs! Love this piece to bits! Must’ve been such a great time for the students in this!

Beautifully and movingly performed, the spirit of Elgar is vividly audible.

Good GOD what a stunning performance! This is one of the most technically difficult orchestral pieces to play -- all those sixteenth-note runs in virtually every section -- and every one of those kids nailed it (especially the brass double-tonguing at 1:19, the gorgeous cello section at 2:08, and the sprint to the end from 5:29 on. One more thing: this blond kid playing in the front row of cellos appears to have memorized his part -- he looks up at the conductor very frequently, including for most of the last 30 seconds (that's why he has three All-State medals around his neck). Great show by these kids!

Youthful orchestral forces, modest in number, perform a famous work with engaging commitment. Well done from the UK.
