Hey! Im trying to build this circuit, but its just dead, it has no senstivity whatsoever. Any chance you still have schematics for your version?
You're using this one? techlib.com/electronics/lightning.html I haven't been through this in a while, but the testing can get weird. Using a spark welder is a pretty good way to test it. It's honestly over sensitive in that schematic I think, so if you're not getting anything then there's certainly a problem haha. I'll see if I have an altered final schematic.

That is a good detector. Mine works OK but, the one you have there works like a charm ^_^
+maineville prepper It took a while to get the noise down to a good level. In an old apartment of mine it wasn't very grounded so it had way more false readings. I also worked a bit with the author of the diagram, improving a couple of the resistors and inductors. www.techlib.com/electronics/lightning.html
