It’s hard to believe how far this firewood business has come. Joe has pulled together his understanding of business, his strive for excellence, a knowledge of all things firewood, a can do attitude, and a friendly personality to make things happen. It was only roughly a year ago that he moved the operation from his backyard to a rented commercial yard and now he is hosting an international firewood show at his own woodyard.

He is living in my apartment building in Rutland City, Vermont. At FIRST he seemed to be a kind, good listener, and good new friend. NOW I do not trust him. (1) He likes my hair and told me I remind him of someone else he knows. He is 70 and has a 52 year old daughter and I am 56. I saw him as an older friend, old enough to be my dad. He wanted to take me to Roots, a rather expensive restaurant, in town, and I said ok but only if it is not a date. He told me that we could ghost date and no one in the building had to know. I never went with him to Roots. He seemed to understand we were not dating. We went to the historical society to find information about the building we live in. (He sometimes calls me KID) Then he tried to get another female tenant to meet him and go for a wlak but she would not. Then he came back to my place.... we played chess on my laptop at the dining table. He talked alot about BIble stuff and we talked about various things. Next thing I know he was trying to kiss me and I refused. I do not trust him to be with me alone now, so he is not allowed in my apartment anymore. Days later I asked him why he thought it was ok to kiss me after being here only a couple weeks. He said he usually tries to kiss someone sooner. ?! I told him I am not moving to Sweetwater anyways. He then said that if things worked out between us that he would stay here. But there is no us. And I heard he went out on a date and had the woman overnight in his apartment already. So, even if I did want to date pops I would not after hearing about that - - - who would. ******Other female tenants in our building tell me he was trying to buy me because early during that visit, before the chess on the laptop... he put some cash on the table telling me to knew me use it for myself due to I am always helping people. He also told me that because he knew me that if I was short money some month to let him know and he would try to help me. Later that visit he tried to kiss me. What do you think? Was he just looking for a kiss or qwas he trying to buy me? ************** Also if he is a man of G-d and sharing scripture stuff, why is he having a random female in his efficiency apartment overnight? Why not take her to the police station or something? - - - I heard he had a date recently and the person spent the night due to he would not answer his door in the morning. (2) He is very into talking about himself ! Dresses like a gangster to do his acts when he performs places. He has been singing karaoke here in town everyplace that he can get "booked" and regular karaoke nights plaes too. He says he supports the mafia and is looking for families here who are connected to the mafia. Told me he went to stand outside a building here and laughed telling me that maybe they will think that someone else is coming in to take over their territory. People will think he is a lunatic and possibly a safety hazzard and call the cops on him or something if he is not careful. (3) He also thinks he knows more about the Bible than any pastor in the country. Says he figured it all out by himself. Just one of those things he claims is that the serpent in the garden of eden was going to try to have sex with Eve and that was what enmity between your see and her seed sort of thing came about. I do not agree with that. Some things about him just do not click. (4) He has an efficiency here and =it means he is not allowed to have anyone overnight. He did have a woman there overnight, a drunk he picked up off the bench across the road. Lied to us all saying it was his cousin. Then later said he helped her to get to a place out of town after she was robbed. And admitted he did not know her. He told me he does not care about getting in trouble and thta he would do it again. ANYONE BRINGING IN HOMELESS PEOPLE INTO THIS HUD HOUSING BUILDING WILL BE EVICTED. *******Without all of the rest of the details, I think he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Pretending to be biblical and spiritual to manipulate people. He is so arrogant he left a church before the sermon started because he had already decided it was not going to be worth it as he knows so much already. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR FEMALES OUT THERE TO BE WARY OF HIM DUE TO HIS LACK OF RESPECT FOR BOUNDARIES, OBSESSION WITH THE MAFIA, AND OPEN MOUTHINESS ABOUT THINGS THAT MIGHT GET HIM INTO BIG TROUBLE IF HE IS DOING IT AROUND THE WRONG PERSON. He just might get his ass beat around here. They might put up with that in Texas, Tennessee or Ohio. But someone here in VERMONT just might decide to take him down a peg. He does not seem to know how to simply accept no, at least in my situation.

It's nice you guys took the time to do this story. I went to last years event and it was impressive what Joe has accomplished. To give up what he had job-wise, then have all those events fall into place right in time and actually all work out is something. Definitely a person not afraid of some risk. As long as his health stays good he should be set until retirement because he knows what he's doing, plus he has a huge backing now that will do practically anything for him. That's a heck of an advantage to have. All the best to Joe.

Oh my God he's crazy as a bed bug. His TH-cam channel says it all. Somebody's Uncle Al got out of Sing Sing after doing a stint for running numbers for the 'Boss'. He's still living in the Glory Days where he would sing O Solo Mio in the Italian restaurant for all the paisano's.😂 If an ad says they can relocate girls, it means they don't have a place to live. He's 70 so in a couple of years you'll be changing his diapers and nursing your black eyes.
