Wow, this is so heavy i love it! The only think i dont like about the mix (not yours of course) is the reverb on vocals.

The bass makes me really curious what slayers discography would have sounded like if toms bass was as loud and written like sodom or motorheads bass.

Imagine what could have been if Lars just practiced with a metronome and Metallica decided to protect their hearing for their entire career.

This exactly what i was looking for. Thank you! :) So the remaster definitely has more beef, more lowend. The kickdrum is more upfront. The resonance of the guitars is less and shifted upwards in the remaster. It also seems to be more compressed according to the waveform but this can be due to the increased low frequency content. Unfortunately the audio compression swallows some details . . . :(

Not sure if you're interested, but I have the unmastered multitracks for a few Linkin Park songs from their first album. There's quite a few tracks (30-40) per song, so they're big projects, but I think they'd sound great in your mixing style.

I like the death metal-style production here. I especially like how loud the bass is in the mix and the sound of the drums.
