Great video, i managed to get there Saturday morning and the big maccano snow engine was fascinating to watch ,a good couple hours spent there .

apart from maybe three layouts, I am now not disappointed that I didn't go. . . the Ribblehaed one was just a joke... and I am no fan of old three-rail and early triang.. sorry but not my thing, nor is narrow gauge although the Abbey light railway was at least a well detailed set-up, shame the real thing isn't there anymore.

17:53 Looks like that 2nd HST coach was a bit de-railed! In fact, the whole of the track bed on that layout looked like a roller coaster!

I loved this show as a kid. When I was older as an adult I learned to imitate the movement of the characters. I got so good my friends would fall over laughing. Even that was long ago. Great memories though.

The play value of these old train models cannot be denied. Great to see.

Some live commentary about TT scale would have been made this really interesting and informative indeed even the fact it’s more prototypically accurate than OO , the most compromised scale in the hobby - track too narrow between running rails , and track sleepers to close together , flanges over sized etc………. Especially as Hornby are reintroducing it with even finer scaling decades later “

Wow amazing, wish I'd known when this was on to visit, now I'm 64yrs but be childhood dream to have seen these beautiful models in person ! Especially loved the Fireball XL5 my personal favourite. Hopefully they'll be another show similar to this in the future?? 🙏 🙏
