Orange Chicken Recipe:
I can make an entire video on this if anyone is interested...I chop chicken breast, season, flour, and fry them. Then toss them in this sauce with veggies, whatever you have on hand is fine! We eat it over rice.
I measure with my heart, but this is close to what I would use.
1C Brown sugar
soy sauce low sodium to taste
1C Chicken broth
black pepper to taste
garlic to taste
ginger (heavy on the ginger) to taste
4 cups of mandarin oranges crushed with juice (add zest if you have real oranges)
Bring it to a boil. lower to simmer, add corn starch with water mixture and allow to thicken.
Toss in chicken and veggies and serve to a very happy family!
This can get salty really fast if you use too much soy so start slow.
