Ah, it actually looks like you're right! I just ran the test with my r50 and it does need to be combined in an editing software! Thank you for correcting me there! :)
@@abentleymedia dude!!! I was so close to buy it. I was almost sure I read the manual and that was possible... Maybe my fault. So I need a r10 at least, or do it by software....
It does say it’s a feature, and it does do the focus bracketing for you! However, the only thing it doesn’t do is combine the image for you. Since it does the bracketing, combining in photoshop should be a breeze!

Subacribed. Very good video, very informative. Looking for r50 reviews. This was the best. Still thinking of which camera to buy. 250d with the efs 18-55 and efs 75-300mm lens (reviews says canon's worst camera lens) at 2900dirhams or this r50 kit with rfs 18-45mm IS stm lens and rfs 55-210mm is stm lens for 3400 dhms. Would love to take street photog, wildlife, landscape, nature and portrait (in the future) for my baby photoshoot rsther than sending in the studio. 😅 which would would you recommend. I'm an avid fan of sony. I only have that sony qx100 mount lens for mobile. Started photography with that one. And would want to own one. I'm still thinking because maybe it will be stucked in the cabinet after short time. 😅😅😅

If you’re looking for a Sony that can do it all, I’d recommend looking at the Sony a6700. It’s a bit of an investment but most certainly a forever camera that you can use for literally anything! Hello, Can you help? I have bought my first camera as R50 With 18-45mm kit lens + 50mm f1.8 lens. I didn’t like kit lens much as my iphone 13 pro pictures were better. And I really liked 50mm lens for great portrait. But when i went to London last week I could capture most of the places properly as i was not able to fit both subject and background like London eye or big ben in one frame. I had to move bit far to capture both. Now i have ordered 16mm 2.8 and 28mm 2.8 and I’m travelling to barcelona and rome next week. Can you suggest me which lens carry to capture the iconic places with me and family ? Thanks in advance.
Hey! That’s understandable with the kit lens! I’m glad you’re enjoying the 50mm! That’s great you’ve got the wider lenses! Those will both be great for what you need. Since this camera is an APS-C sensor camera, it has a crop of 1.6x. So realistically, your 16mm will be more like a 26mm and your 28mm will be more like a 45mm I hope that helps!

They should be better quality than the kit lens since they’re at a fixed focal length and have that nice fast aperture of f/2.8! It’ll just be a little more “zoomed in” than what the actual focal length number is (the 16mm and the 28mm)
Great video all around. First time I have seen someone actually go thru the Auto Plus modes. I didnt know what they do and even as a 20 year pro shooter, I'll have to check them out, especially the bracketing one. The HDR backlight control looks interesting too as I like shooting heavily backlit portraits at golden hour and it can be challenging. Nice to finally see some AI from smartphones making their way into cameras and I embrace this kind of stuff.

Where is the bad 🥲
There really isn’t much that’s bad about this camera! It’s mainly the crop sensor, and how you can only shoot 4K 30fps. There’s also this weird thing where the footage seems to be naturally darker than other cameras of its stature

Hey! I am doing pretty well and I hope you are too! I would say it’s always best to invest in a camera. If you need to save up for one, then definitely use your phone! The camera is only the tool to help you make your art! Another hybrid would be the Sony a6700. That’s high up on my list! Hey! Thank you for tuning in and this great comment! :) The r5” will be great for what you’ll be shooting! A better lens would certainly help right off the bat, especially lower light situations. However, the kit lens could last you a rather long time since it’s actually pretty functional

If im looking to do casual photography and make some professional short films, would you reccomend buying the r50 with the kit lens as a beginner?? I thought about getting the sigma 18-50 2.8 but thought the kit lens will suffice to start off with. Love the video!!
I would definitely recommend the r50! The kit lens will work, but it may not give you the image you’re wanting since it’s not the fastest lens (aperture of 4.5-5.6). So if you do have room in your budget for that sigma lens, then that’ll set you up for a very long time with some good quality! Thank you so much for tuning in and commenting! :) I hope that helps!
Canon R50, Sony EV-10 and Sony a6400 are the same value in my place new set with kit lens. Which one is better?
I would say that the r50 is the best bang for your buck for an all around camera that can then become a b camera. It has better specs and standard color for video nowadays with the 10-bit 4:2:2 The a6400 is really impressive as well and I would choose that over the zv-e10. They both share the same sensor, they’re both 8-bit color for the video and they both don’t have in body image stabilization. If you’re looking for one over the other, the a6400 will give you a better b cam once you upgrade out If you’re looking for other cameras that are close to the a6400 price, I’d highly recommend checking out the a6700. That’s probably the most feature rich camera for its price and it’s truly made me even consider switching to it! I hope that helps! Thank you for tuning in! :)
