the first words out of my mouth after loading in were: "Is this a cheater?" Suppose I shouldn't be surprised it was Quiet too. If he hadn't been clueless I'd have been in for a rough time if I had to fully PVP.

@@EntropyRisen #1: yes, boxes clear the marker if you get spotted. #2: it doesn’t really matter. I use a controller on pc to play so when i get knocked out, i use the mouse to wake up. waking up is faster on keyboard and mouse since the mouse input overrides the stick input and I can move my mouse much faster than the stick. i will use that to wake up then switch back to controller once i am fully awake. if you don’t have a keyboard then my best advice is to just move the stick as fast as you can, direction doesn’t matter.

The game automatically places cameras on an FOB once you develop them. Using the night vision makes them stand out more and I have memorized some common locations of the cameras. Hope this helps!

@@PuppyPlimby there’s only a few guns that can have infinite suppressors. to get them you just have to develop the gun to a certain level. none of the guns in this video have infinite suppressors, they are just max durability. the max durability suppressor was from another gun and i customized the rifles in the video to have that suppressor

the higher the rank of the soldier, the harder they are to kill and the more deadly they are. however, people are liable to steal your guards if they are very high level. having insurance makes your guards S rank only and they cannot be stolen by rivals. hope this helps!

@themindmanipulator_ I'm playing fob events, so I don't worry so much about. The problem is when I'll purchase S++ soldiers. Then...maybe I'll do an insurance.

@ yeah insurance is really good as it prevents cheaters from draining all your resources and normal players from damaging you too much

@themindmanipulator_ you see, this is the REAL reason, that I don't want to play in other fobs: there are too many cheaters. I'm so annoyed.

@GREATBOYITA i’ve only ever come across a handful of cheaters (most use mods to get high level equipment faster but some do cheat in pvp) so i wouldn’t let it prevent you from getting into infiltration and pvp but it’s certainly a risk nonetheless. insurance is the best bet if you’re concerned about cheaters

@@themindmanipulator_ Didn't mean to be toxic, my original comment was genuinely serious. Your description says you want to play without cheating. Well, Quiet and energy shields aren't cheating, it's part of the official game, it's not hacks. And this is just my opinion of a strategy on the defensive, since you need to be way more aggressive than when attacking as the more time goes the more he cleans your fob and clears his path to victory. ​@@Nico-iv3wr i agree that i do play pretty passively. its what im used to but im working on improving. i find quiet+ew to be pretty unfair in pvp (ive fought people that use it, its not fun) so i dont do it. regardless, i appreciate the comment. thanks for advice!

@@Yoursss_Trulyyy He had insurance on his FOB. That prevents the owner from losing staff or GMP but does cost MB Coins.

​@@themindmanipulator_Not true Insurance just dupes the soldiers and materials that were stolen from you, invader still gets rewards Silver has literally no soldiers, that's why when you cored him no soldiers were captured But, if you Fulton them, you will get them Those are only E Class though

​@@themindmanipulator_There's prob 3 reasons he keeps his base this way 1._ If he cored you, you won't get any of your soldiers back when you core him back 2._ Lower other player's attention 3._ he gets drained constantly and doesn't bother loading another save file

if you take any damage or are spotted by guards as an infiltrator you get marked. The box removes the mark so the opponent can't see exactly where you are

Personally i think the main drawback of FOBs is that they encourage back and forth fighting. if two players start to attack each other constantly and neither can attack without leaving a wormhole it can certainly be draining. that said i think if you are looking to play FOBs more casually now is a great time since there aren’t a ton of people online. the community is smaller and while you can certainly run into people with frustrating play styles it’s very unlikely that you’ll have to constantly watch your FOB for intruders. there are tons of people (myself included) who’d love to have you give it a shot again and who would be happy to help you brush up on your skills. if you’re not looking to play again, us FOBers will still be here on youtube to stop by and give us a look whenever you want. thanks for stopping by!

@@themindmanipulator_ yep. give it a try. Personally, i alternate both mkb and controller it's just we mood I'm feeling. You won't be able to move with controller while you're aiming with the mouse though so get used to wasd. And also, whenever you get knocked out the mouse movement with either keyboard or in your case controller pressing y will snap you out of it like 10x faster

@@blakehenry9030 I do think everything up to me dying was some of the best evasion ive done in pvp. Im getting a lot better at misdirection and it shows since this guy is not experienced in pvp and had to use cheats when he retaliated. that said I certainly could've done better but in the end everything is a learning experience.
